The former Ponce de Leon Hotel was an exclusive luxury hotel in St. Augustine, Florida, built by millionaire developer and Standard Oil co-founder Henry M. Flagler and completed in 1888. The hotel was designed in the Spanish Renaissance style as the first major project of the New York architecture firm Carrère & Hastings, which would go on to gain world renown.

Historical walking tour
This walking tour is so informative and our guide Russ was amazing. He was knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor. He offered a lot of suggestions from restaurants and local insider tips to help us maximize our visit in St Augustine. Highly recommend and make sure to ask for Russ.

Perfect introduction to St. Augustine
We took a 90 minute walking tour of St. Augustine with Evan. There were just three of us which was perfect! Great choice for our first visit to this beautiful and historic city. Evan knows his history and loves to share what he knows. We had so much fun and learned a lot too. The price was reasonable as well. Thank you Evan!

Amy our guide was knowledge and paced the tour well.
Amy was very knowledgeable about the history of St. Augustine. She was able to present a complicated history (it's Spanish, no it's British, no it's Spanish again, no....) in a digestible and easy to understand manner. She also planned the walk well to have some stops that included opportunities to sit and listen to her, as well as take advantage of some air conditioning. She also made some great suggestions about the local dining. We tried one of her recommendations (the Greek / Polish restaurant right near the pick up spot) and she was so right!! Delicious and great value!

Great little tour for history
Eric,cute guy,So exicite about what he was telling you! Pointed out great places to eat and snack too,I have been to StAugustine many times,first time to do this tour saw things I never knew was there,it was a hot day so glad when tour was completed but Eric got us into the breeze and a/c through out the tour

Who needs a history book...when you got Evan!
Evan was our guide. The occasional showers didn't put a damper on things. Evan was very knowledgeable and he thoroughly enjoyed sharing all that he knew and then some. We learned of the history of the town (which could fill up many history books), we also learned about a few good places to eat. We will definitely rebook this tour (with Evan) on our return trip to St. Augustine's.
