Disappointed
Today I did this activity of which my wife and I were both extremely disappointed. Not so much from the presentation but both thought the price of €12,- was hugely too high for 8 minutes of watching images. Would have been a nice intro for the rest of the historical program, but certainly not for €12,-

Het spijt ons te horen dat u teleurgesteld was over de prijs-duurverhouding van het VR-ticket. Het aparte VR-ticket is inderdaad een beleving van zo'n 8 minuten. We begrijpen dat dit anders kan aanvoelen wanneer men het als een volledige activiteit op zich ervaart.
Naast het losse VR-ticket bieden wij ook een combiticket Story+VR aan. In dat geval wordt de Historium Virtual Reality gebruikt als introductie op de Historium Story en Exhibition. Dat ticket biedt dan een bezoek van ongeveer een uur aan. Veel bezoekers ervaren het op die manier als één totaalbeleving.
We waarderen uw feedback en nemen dit mee in hoe we onze communicatie rond de verschillende ticketformules blijven verduidelijken.

An incredible experience
We really liked the experience. A first part in which you see the history of the city through virtual reality and then we follow to the rest of the exhibition that explains very well all the historical concepts of the evolution of the place.

Fun for those who like to learn about the history of Bruges.
Short (8minutes) but nice experience.
Maybe a little too expensive for what it is, but educational..

A must for those with children
If you want to make the history of Bruges known to the boys, without boring them, rather making them participate, this is a must. Nice also for adults
Very interesting also the experience in 3 D that I highly recommend.

Could be better
The VR experience covers a millenium of history in 8 minutes. Enjoyable, but far too brief. Unfortunately a loud group of kids were seated behind us, and they succeeded in drowning out most of the audio.

Interesting 3D insight into Bruges' medieval past
It was an interesting 3D insight into Bruges' medieval past. Technically it wasn't top-notch but still very good. It's also specifically designed for children who want to learn more about European history without boring them.

Brugge Museum VR experience
What i didn't realise until i go there was the virtual reality and the museum were separate things and needed separate tickets, they were very good there and just charged us the extra we would have paid had we bought a combined ticket with them. The VR experience is very good and explains how Brugges came to being and why so many canals. It's a relatively short presentation, about 15 minutes all told and you just sit and look around you. The VR experiance isn't essential for the museum story, where the myseum is a better buy if your short on time and can only do one thing. Something that's not obvious is that you can get to the first floor bar free of charge which has a fantastic view over the main square and some fantastic beers on tap. The cherry fruit beers a must.

I didn't understand
I do not understand until now what the fictional story of Ana and a parrot has to do with the city.The view is beautiful, the price is very high, but this story could be taken.

Nele você acompanha a história do aprendiz de Jan van Eyck que tem que cumprir uma série de tarefas para seu mestre pintor. Você caminha pela cidade medieval para acompanhar nossa história. A menina e o papagaio referem-se à pintura 'Madonna with Canon Van Der Paele' que Jan van Eyck está pintando em nossa história. Isso se passa em 1435, quando Jan van Eyck realmente viveu e trabalhou em Bruges e pintou esta obra.

The sale of this product was very misleading. This was only an 8 minute virtual reality tour. The one hour tour was not included.
