There will be many stops throughout the tour for historic information, eco information, & wildlife viewing (like our many bird species or the local Atlantic Bottlenose Dolphin.) The Mini Boats are easy to drive and can fit up to 2, 3, or 4 people each. This is the perfect experience for families, friends or couples. It is sure to be an unforgettable experience!

Itinerary
This tour will explore Hilton Head Island from the water. Drive your own mini boat as our local guide tells you about the Hilton Head history and the ecosystem. Chances of spotting wildlife such as egret, osprey, pelican or dolphin is also a possibility on this exciting tour.
You will pass by the famous red and white Harbourtown lighthouse, constructed in the late 1960's and early 1970's. This was built as a tourist attract to draw people to visit Hilton Head Island.
Along the way, you'll see Daufuskie Island, which is beloved by many for its rustic and old world charm. Only accessible by boat, many people like to visit Daufuskie Island for the day for a bite to eat or to explore by golf cart.
We’ll cruise by some beautiful Hilton Head beaches, some less inhabited than others.
You will also pass by the world famous Harbour Town Golf Links which hosts the PGA Heritage Golf Tournament every year in April.

We did the 2 hour mini boat dolphin tour. Jacob and Brian were our guides and it was the best part of our vacation. They were very knowledgeable, we saw a ton of dolphins and had a blast. Highly recommend doing this tour.
Family of four had a great time today! We had two mini boats and really enjoyed the adventure. Brian and Jacob were great guides, it’s clear they enjoy their job and it makes the experience even better. Boats have some pep and you have the opportunity to open them up as well as slow down to see the Dolphins. Great experience. It’s good for families with younger kids as well as older kids.
Our family had a fantastic time on the mini boats! We booked two boats, one for me and my husband and the other for our children in their early twenties. The guides were great telling us about the area and looking for dolphins. The highlights were speeding through the tall grasses of the sound. It was like a race track for boats. We loved it!

If you visit Hilton Head and don't take the mini-boat tour with Lowcountry Watersports, you're missing one of the best experiences on the island. From the moment we walked into the gift shop, the young lady working there made us feel like family. The customer service was outstanding from start to finish. I shared this adventure with my daughter, Kayla, and it turned out to be one of those memories we'll never forget. Our guides, the "two Jacks," were absolutely fantastic. They were knowledgeable, funny, energetic, and clearly passionate about what they do. The mini boats were incredibly easy to operate, and once we opened them up, the fun really started. We were flying across the water, spotting dolphins, learning about the island, and seeing Hilton Head from an entirely different perspective. The scenery was incredible, and the value for the money was exceptional. As someone who has lived on Hilton Head for years, I can honestly say this is one of the very best ways to experience everything that makes the island special. We booked the mini boat tour which was led by Jack and Jack. They did a great job and I would recommend to anyone else who is looking to book an experience while in HHI
Max and Jack were very knowledgeable and made the experience fun. Saw large pods of dolphins. Excellent training on the use of the Zodiac.
The boats were so much fun and all our boys had fun (11-18 yrs old).
Super fun boat tour. The zodiacs were a blast to drive and the guides were knowledgeable about the area and took us to where the bait fish were and we got to see lots of dolphins. Our tour was in the morning bc our tour the day before was rescheduled due to thunderstorms. 8 am is the time to be on the water.
I had a blast on the mini boat dolphin trip! It was so much fun to drive my own boat in the open waters! The guides were great and offered some interesting facts and history. I saw some dolphins which added to the experience. I highly recommend this adventure! Well worth the money, and a great way to be on the water. I will definitely do this again on my next visit!
Bob and Cayden were excellent tour guides. Very friendly and gave us a quick history of the island. We got to see the dolphins up fairly close to the boat. Operating the boat was a blast.
