Hiking to Bucegi Natural Park from Brasov

A tremendous hiking tour with Adrian! My wife and I really enjoyed his company - understanding of our needs and physical abilities yet encouraged us along the way. We learned so much about Romanian history and culture even beyond the natural park exploration! A chance encounter with a local nomadic shepherd was definitely a highlight of our România trip. We enjoyed the hike. The pickup and return transport by car was uncomplicated and I felt very safe. The hike was good and Adrian, the guide, made an effort to make the excursion as good as possible. He knows a lot about the history of the country and talks a lot about it; he is friendly and seems to be a very open person with whom you can talk without any problems. All in all, it was a pleasant hike with a pleasant person. We would book an excursion with him again at any time :)

Adrian is a fantastic guide! We hiked up to Omu peak in Bucegi park. He was very knowledgeable about the area and quite a good hiking partner/guide. His English is impeccable and he is amicable and a good conversationalist. Would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a guide in the area, whether to see the local castles and cultural spots or for hiking and outdoor adventures.

Adrian was an amazing guide, ready for anything, extremely knowledgeable about the Bucegi trails, and a friendly and encouraging person in every respect. He took our son to Omu peak, and since the day concluded, our son has not stopped talking about what a great experience he had. Adrian is clearly an expert, but even more than that, he is a fabulous person to spend the day with and will show you the natural beauty of the Romanian mountains. This was my first time ever hiking a mountain, and it was an incredible experience. My friend and I went with our guide, Adrian, who was absolutely amazing. He was by far the best tour guide I’ve ever had. He made sure we went at a pace we were comfortable with, was incredibly friendly, and made the whole experience enjoyable from start to finish. My friend and I spent a half day hiking with Adrian through the Bucegi mountains. Adrian is a fun, adventurous sole, with a vast amount of knowledge of Romanian history. We enjoyed his energy as he led us through a somewhat moderately challenging hike (we are from Florida). It was May and there was still snow on the ground as we ascended to higher ground. The hike was about 5 hours from start to finish and about 5 miles round trip. The scenery was beautiful. After many city tours, it was a much needed day immersed in nature. It was very helpful to have a guide who knows the terrain and the trail. Thanks Adrian.

Adrian is a very kind and responsible guide who knows the trails extremely well. I felt safe hiking with him, especially on sections that were covered in snow and a bit slippery. During the winter, it’s not possible to reach the peak, but the views are still stunning. Adrian is also very knowledgeable about Romanian history, and I learned a lot during the hike. I highly recommend him for hiking, especially if you’re travelling solo.

Wow! What an amazing experience! We booked a last minute hike with Adrian. We were a little nervous as we are not the fittest of people. He collected us and took us to the mountains and went at our pace. And was so informative and patient. By the time we got to the top - well, not the top but our reaching point. We were blown away by the views we saw! We’ve never seen such beauty. We finished the day with a real sense of accomplishment. I called it mountain therapy because Adrian’s insights and the beauty of the mountain just unlocked something in us. To release everything and talk it all out into the tall trees.
