Started the day at a local restaurant which is perfect if you didn’t have time to grab food. Took a trip to a house where you can get rain boots to protect your feet. GET THE BOOTS. The hike is moderate, the guides are well informed and always helpful. Beginner friendly but there are quite a few challenges along the way. The hike round trip is about 5k. The waterfall is beautiful. Being a change of clothes if you don’t want to be cold on the way back. The information imparted by the guides place the important of nature and how we care for it into perspective. 10/10 experience.
We had an absolutely amazing experience! Meetup was clear and easy. The drive to the ecological park was interesting and not too long. We stopped at a place to change where we could also rent boots to hike in since the water is high in spots. The hike was not easy but was a fun adventure! So much to see and learn, and our guide Sebastian was an outstanding leader and host. Finishing at the gorgeous waterfall pool was amazing. It's even better than the photos! Truly an amazing experience and I am so glad we picked this one.
Exactly what I wanted - a good hike to a beautiful waterfall with a great guide and amazing group. Highly recommend! Short drive so most of the time was on the trail or at the waterfall.
Very beautiful hike. The guides are very interesting and take good care of the group. Hike for everyone
Best experience I had while in Colombia Would recommend to anyone visiting Greatly priced for how much you get to do and they also give you snacks and coffee or tea along the way as well!
Sebastian was such a great guide! He managed to guide us through the hike with knowledge, easy, care and great humour. It was an enjoyable and educational tour. I highly recommend!!
This experience was so much fun!!! The hospitality was so impressive! We were offered food, drinks, boots.. I was blown away by how cared for and thought of we were. The hike itself was so fun! We got to learn fun facts about the environment AND I got to see a blue chrysalis butterfly. It was such a cool thing to see. Plus, the pictures look stunning! I’m so happy i made time for this!!
Very beautiful waterfall and location! Very well organized and even gave us time reach meeting point. They gave us snacks we didn’t expect and well very well attentive since the hike was a little hard for us. Thank you to Sebastian and other guide
Fantastic and great fun! Lots of rock climbing using both hands. Good shoes that can get wet are a must.
It is an unmissable experience if you are in Medellín; Alejandro and Johanna are the guides I had, and they did an excellent job throughout the entire journey. P.S.-1: Keep in mind that you are definitely going to get wet on the way, so bring shoes that can get wet and allow you to walk with wet shoes. Pd-2: In case you do not have shoes to get wet, you can rent boots at a cost of 10,000 COP
