hiking medellin and hidden waterfalls

Sebas was an incredible guide ! The adventure outside of Medellin is something to definitely book. Such a great experience, refreshing cold spring water, nature , definitely a hike but worth it all! Highly recommend

This was such a fun and memorable hiking experience! We were picked up in a comfortable van, and our guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly had everyone’s safety in mind throughout the entire tour. As we started hiking through the park, he shared the history of the area along with some really interesting information about the local plants. He pointed out plants to be careful around, including ones with spikes, and even told us about the fascinating “roofie plant” and some of the local stories and social warnings surrounding it. I really enjoyed how much we learned along the way—it made the hike about more than just reaching the waterfalls. One thing I would mention for future travelers is that I personally would not consider this a beginner hike. I saw other reviews describing it as moderate, but I think you should have at least some hiking experience and be comfortable with climbing. There is one section where you actually have to climb across and up a rock using metal footholds/handholds to help pull yourself up. It’s not an extremely high-intensity hike, but it does require some strength, balance, and confidence, so I would definitely keep that in mind before booking. The waterfalls themselves were absolutely beautiful! The water was incredibly cold, but jumping in was so refreshing and completely worth it. My friend and I had such a great time enjoying the scenery and the whole experience. I would absolutely recommend this tour, especially on a warm, sunny day. If you enjoy hiking, adventure, beautiful scenery, and don’t mind getting into some very cold water, this is a fantastic way to experience a different side of Medellín!

What an amazing my friends and I had. The hike was a little intense but the guides were with us every step of the way. So informative and very approachable. Very well worth the price. We met up around 9am and were done by i think like 230 maybe 3pm. It was an absolutely beautiful day. Hot but not crazy hot. In my group we were 6 but the total group was maybe like 20. I can honestly say this was a highlight for our trip. Shout to to Sebastian and Alejandro. Thank you guys for making us feel safe and welcomed and made sure we had a wonderful time.

It was a hike! But totally worth it!!

Sebastian was the best guide. He helped our family of 6 with 1 teen with autism navigate the river and rocks like a professional. We had the best day because of Sebastian's professionalism and guidance.

The experience was great. We had no issues or disappointments during this adventure today. Alejandro and David were fantastic. They gave us a run down of what to expect and what to bring. We seen the water falls and some remarkable scenery in the jungle. Great tour and would definitely suggest it if you love hiking.

This was my favourite experience in Medellin. The route was the perfect level of challenge and the tour guide Sebastian was kind and knowledgeable about the wildlife. The waterfalls were beautiful and refreshing and the views were incredible. I would recommend wearing long sleeves and longer trousers if you are sensitive to insect bites.
