Description
Le Morne Brabant is a mountain of the south-west of Mauritius, on the peninsula of le Morne. Our team has been the first ever guides in 2004 to bring guests from all over the planet on this majestic rock. Declared World Heritage by UNESCO since July 6, 2008, the site is a sanctuary of the runaway slaves who would have committed suicide by jumping off the cliff of the mountain. Le Morne Brabant is one of the most preserved and wildest mountains of the island. It is habitat to a very large variety of endemic and narrow-endemic species, such as the rare Trochetia Boutoniana, which is our floral emblem. Some steeper parts of the ascent will require the use of our hands to progress safely towards the top, where we’ll discover the breath-taking views on the west and south-west lagoons and part of of the island !

Déclarer patrimoine mondiale par l'UNESCO le 6 Juillet 2008, la montagne est le sanctuaire des esclaves marrons, qui se seraient jettés du haut de celle-ci pour préserver leur liberté et échapper à leurs maîtres. Se situant sur des terres privées, le Morne Brabant est l'une des montagnes les plus préservées de l'Île. On y retrouve une très haute densité, et variété, d'espèces endémiques, tels que la très rare, Trochetia Boutonania, notre emblème florale nationale.

Wonderful experience climbing la Morne with our guid Rowan
We had an awesome experience climbing Le Morne. Our guide, Rowan was exceptional and expertly guided us up the mountain. His knowledge of the area and ability to converse in english made the hike even more enjoyable. Although the hike became technical, Rowan put us all at ease as we climbed the mountain. Would highly recommedn Rowan

Great Experience thanks to great guide!
My girlfriend and I did the Le Morne hike and had been really looking forward to it beforehand. We can honestly say that it exceeded all our expectations! This was also thanks to our amazing guide, Rowin. He helped us throughout the entire hike, told us a lot about the history and nature of Le Morne, and was such a kind and helpful person. We had an unforgettable experience and would definitely recommend this hike, especially with Rowin as your guide!

Highly recommended without hesitation!
Delighted with our excursion to Mount Brabant with our guides Yudish and Ethan! We had chosen to hike Mount Brabant with guides for safety reasons on the second part of the ascent. We felt safe and reassured by their instructions. Furthermore, we appreciated the super interesting information about the history of the mountain and its surroundings, as well as the flora and fauna, that they shared with us during the excursion. We were a group of 10. The ascent is technical but accessible because it is short in distance and the landscapes are breathtaking!

We had a beautiful hike up Le Morne Brabant with our guide *Yudish*. From the beginning, we felt very comfortable and in good hands with him. He was super friendly, patient, and motivated and supported us throughout the entire hike.
