This unmissable experience begins at the “Bajo de las shadows” port, where we embark on a navigation of around 15 minutes to cross Brazo Rico. We got very close to the Glacier and at that moment we had a fantastic perception of how big it was.
Once on the glacier and with the crampons in place, the world takes on a new perspective: blue lagoons, deep cracks, huge sinkholes, magical caves. During the walk, the guides explain the flora and fauna and the general glaciology of the region, explaining the specific phenomenon of ruptures of the Perito Moreno Glacier.
We sit on the glacier to rest and we will have time to enjoy and take beautiful photos, and if you wish, have a snack (not included). A fantastic experience to be there, sitting on the glacier surrounded by mountains.
With our energy restored, we continued walking until we returned to the starting point, where we removed our crampons and went down to the port. We returned to the boat satisfied and with this new adventure to tell.
We then passed through the walkways to observe the Perito Moreno Glacier from the front. We see the beautiful shade of blue of this immense glacier and we take the opportunity to photograph it from a wider angle of view, observing how it rises from the lake to the top of the mountains, to return to “civilization”, after having enjoyed one of the most spectacular ice treks in the world.

We loved our glacier hike! The guides were super knowledgeable about nature in the area, the glaciers, and were very helpful with any questions we had. They even had a surprise ready for us when we rounded a bend on the glacier! I won't spoil it! But the best part was the beauty of this amazing part of the earth.
An unforgettable experience. Excellent and fun... exhausting!!!! It's not really exhausting, I get tired because I don't exercise much. But there were babies!!!! From the coast you are taken by boat to the forest you make a walk to the first stop where they explain everything and another longer walk to put the crampons to walk on the ice there explain techniques to walk and eye with cell phones because you would not have to remove the gloves since if you fall you can hurt your hands because the ice cuts. And the cell phone slides up to the first crack and you don't see it anymore and it pollutes... so remember with your eyes everything you can. They end with a surprise. Enjoy!!!

In it you do the sidewalks in front of the Perito with a unique view and the navigation until you get near the glacier where you will take a walk until you get to the incredible glacier and start the Trekking!! One advice just know and take a walk 😍😍😍
