Hidden Alleyways and Historic Sites Small-Group Walking Tour

Description
Explore some of Charleston's enchanting alleyways and historic sites on this small group, 2-hour walking tour. With our small group tours, you are guaranteed a more intimate and up-close experience. Charleston's alleyways are fortunately located within the popular historic district which allows us to include some well known points of interest and go a little "off the beaten path” while exploring the history and beauty of Charleston's enchanting alleyways. Generally, we include between four to six different alleyways/passages as well as popular points of interest like Rainbow Row and of course, tons of history! These pedestrian passageways are often overlooked, but walking along these cobbled paths is an opportunity to appreciate Charleston's rich history and hidden, more intimate charms.

Duggar was our tour guide and was outstanding. He has a true passion for the city’s history and provided interesting facts and trivia, mixed with Southern humor and charm. Highly recommend him as a tour guide. You won’t be disappointed.
We did this tour 4 yrs ago as a couple and this time we had a group of 4 as we decided to do it again for our two friends. Duggar was our guide. He exuded southern charm and was an excellent communicator as well as very knowledgeable of the area. Although it was quite warm, Duggar did his best to keep us in the shade versus the sun. This tour was not only a great value but also very informative and fun!
Our tour guide Evans was so incredibly knowledgeable and thoughtful when speaking on touchy history. He had a great sense of humor and was a delight to spend a few hours around the city with.
David was an exceptional guide. Seeing the city through the eyes of a native Charleston-ite is a Don't-Miss-Experience. He was knowledgeable, witty, and paced the tour perfectly. It was obvious that one could take the tour multiple times and have an entirely new and valuable experience each time. This tour turned Charleston into my new favorite destination.
Tour guide was very knowledgeable about Charleston history through all periods and knew the history of many homes.
Jim our tour guide was knowledgeable, friendly and informative. He answered any questions and ensured we knew of hazardous walking conditions. I would book again with Low Country Tours.
