Hi5 Tandem Paragliding is a company who love to share the ease, exhilaration and absolute freedom of tandem paragliding flights. Tandem paragliding flights are done from Lions Head and Signal Hill within the spectacular Table Mountain National Park. With a well organized and professional service you can relax and enjoy the ultimate instructional tandem paragliding experience with Hi5 Tandem Paragliding. Seapoint promenade opposite the Winchester Mansion and the fields at the Glen Country Club/Bungalow Restaurant are the two preferred paragliding landing fields. Tandem paragliding flights vary in length as they are very dependent on weather conditions and can vary from about 8 to 15 minutes. We pride ourself on the quality and duration of flights and will paraglide for as long as possible. Our flights are for guests that are 14 years and older, and weighing between 25-100kg. We will also return you to your vehicle on the mountain after the flight free of charge.
On the day of your flight your arrival time and the take-off location will be confirmed two hours before your booked time. For flights from Signal Hill please be sure to park your car in the parking lot. The take-off site is right next to parking lot close to the look out point. Our team will receive you on the mountain and get you ready for your flight with your instructor. During your flight you will have a great view of the Sea Point and surrounding areas, including Robben Island, Green Point Stadium and Table Mountain. On the day of your flight your arrival time and the take-off location will be confirmed two hours before your booked time. For flights from Lions Head, parking is located next to the start of the hiking trail. Our team will meet you at the start/bottom of this hiking trail and you will take a short hike up to the take-off site together. During your flight you will have a great view of Lions Head, the 12 Apostles, Camps bay and the famous Clifton beaches. Come enjoy the best views Cape Town has to offer!

Yes. Cancel at least 1 day before the start for a full refund. Later cancellations are non-refundable.
The meeting point is Our team will receive you at the bottom/start of the Lions Head Hiking Trail. There is an office or Vida Cafe where we meet clients. On arrival please be sure to ask for HI5 PARAGLIDING. (Site is weather dependent). Hotel pickup is not part of this experience.

Absolutely one of the best experiences I had in Cape Town. From the moment we took off, the views were unbelievable — the mountains, the coastline, the city and the ocean all looked incredible from above. It genuinely felt like such a special experience. A huge thank you to my pilot, Francois. He was so kind, calm and fun, and he made the whole flight even better. I felt completely comfortable with him and enjoyed every second. The camera unfortunately didn’t work on my first flight, but Francois and Trevor were so helpful and generous and let me fly again with a new camera. That honestly made the experience even more memorable, and I really appreciated how much they cared about making sure I left happy. Everything about the experience was amazing — the team, the flight, the views and the way they treated us. If you’re visiting Cape Town, this is 100% something you should do. I would do it again without hesitation!

Highly recommend the morning paragliding flight. The guide and operator were very responsible, providing prompt updates on weather and safety. It was a relaxed, fun, and chill moment in Cape Town—not too scary at all. I will definitely do it again if I come back in the future.

Had an amazing time. The staff were all fantastic, from the sign up process with Trevor to the actual paragliding with Francois. Would definitely recommend. The only downside was that it wasn't longer.

The experience was AWESOME! Best way too celebrate my birthday. It is really worth the money. Little waiting time, but we too that time to take beautiful pictures. The time flying is unreal and the weather was great. The crowd atmosphere was nice and supportive, as well as the staff, they attended to us with the best intentions and walked us through everything.
