05:00am start HCMC for 3-hour drive to Mekong Delta. Leaving city behind, scenery changes to views of rice paddies, beautiful orchards by side of road, other scenes typical to southern Vietnam. 8:00am, Arrive at Can Tho city - capital of Southwest, start day with a visit to Cai Rang Floating Market. While crossing Mekong River, observe daily activities of local people on the banks, see traditional-style houses in which local people live as well as beautiful orchards, busy ships - building yards and bustling markets where they make their livelihood. We try to enjoy breakfast at the floating market, drink a speacial coffee/soft drink, pineapple on boat. 10:00am, Disembark before exploring Son Islet - an islet in the middle of Hau River which is separated not far away from the mainland with alluvial consolidating green orchids all year round and the honest, lovely and enthusiastic people. 12:00pm, Having lunch with many specialties on this Islet. 18:30, Arrive at HCMC

05:00 am Depart Ho Chi Minh City for the 3 - hour drive to Mekong Delta. Leaving the city behind, the scenery changes to views of rice paddies, beautiful orchards by the side of the road and other scenes typical to southern Vietnam.
8:00 am, Arrive at Can Tho city - the capital of the Southwest, start the day with a visit to Cai Rang Floating Market. While crossing the Mekong River, observe the daily activities of local people on the banks, see traditional -style houses in which the local people live as well as beautiful orchards, busy ships - building yards and bustling markets where they make their livelihood. Having breakfast on the floating market. It is a wonderful experience when you can enjoy a delicious countrified breakfast, along with an unsteady feeling whenever the waves hit the side of the boat that will make you feel excited. Meanwhile, you have the opportunity to dive into the vibrant atmosphere of the morning fair, with welcoming laughter and the sound of floods. In particular, two famous "specialties" at Cai Rang floating market that you should not miss are "shaken noodles" and "braised coffee".
After that, our tour guide takes you to some traditional workshops. You have a great time learning how locals make “Hu Tieu” (rice vermicelli). They are soft, flat, slippery and slightly chewy. Then, the boat carries you to another place to enjoy pineapple (known as the queen of fruits) that is fresh and delicious. The seller will peel the pineapple on the spot for you to enjoy right on the boat.
10:00 am, after paying visit to colorful floating market check-out & disembark before exploring Son islet - an islet in the middle of Hau River which is separated not far away from mainland with alluvial consolidating green orchids all year round & honest, lovely & enthusiastic people. First experience in Son islet where you will visit floating fish farm on Hau River. Fisherman has collection of fish. Do not forget to check-in “Foot massage with Koi fish”. Walking around Son islet among 80 households, you experience picking the fruit and enjoy it from the tree when you visit the garden with local people. Do not miss the monkey bridge! It’s a good idea and very meaningful with the flying menu. Flying menu” is a unique style of Son islet, each family will prepare one dish and serve it all to you, the benefits from community-based tourism will be shared and filled with inhabitants. 12:00 pm, have lunch with many specialties on this islet. After this insightful visit, return to the hotel.
18:00, arrive in Ho Chi Minh City. End of the tour.

Went on an amazing tour of the Mekong delta. Seeing how the people live and work there was really being to see. If you are lucky you will get Tuan as your guide. He was very knowledgeable, and welcoming.
An excellent tour from start to finish. I booked it at the last min the night before for a 5am pickup, and everything was still perfectly organised with email and WhatsApp communication. Our guide, Tuan, contacted us personally, the pickup was on time, and the vehicle was very comfortable. Tuan spoke excellent English, was very friendly and helpful, and took great care of everyone. He clearly explained the itinerary at each stop, so we always knew what to expect. We tried lots of local food, visited the floating market and fish farms, and experienced things we had never seen before. Thank you, Tuan, for a wonderful day! All the very best!
It was an amazing experience visiting the mekong delta. the village tour was good. we learnt how puffed rice is made and had a taste of it. the floating market we reached at 8 am dont know if it was the right time, but we couldnt witness much of the market scene on the river at that time. we did visit a family on the boat and learnt about their life. they served us fruits and coconut water which was very refreshing. the mekong delta was also good, overall a good experience
Avoid VIET FUN TRAVEL COMPANY LIMITED if you actually want to visit the places you book. We booked the "1 Day Can Tho Floating Market & Cu Chi Tunnels" tour several months in advance for our honeymoon. We planned a large part of our Vietnam itinerary around this exact tour and were genuinely excited about it. Then, on the evening before the tour, after we had already arrived in Ho Chi Minh City, they simply sent us a message saying the tour was cancelled because there weren't enough participants. No warning. No prior communication. Nothing. Instead, they immediately tried to sell us a private tour for roughly twice the price. This completely ruined our plans. Had they informed us even a few days earlier, we could have booked with another operator. Instead, they waited until the very last minute, leaving us with virtually no alternatives. What frustrates me most is not the cancellation itself. Sometimes that happens. It's the complete lack of professionalism and respect for customers who book months in advance and organize an entire trip around a reservation. If your travel plans actually matter and you want to be sure you'll visit the places you've booked, choose another company. VIET FUN TRAVEL COMPANY LIMITED is simply not reliable.

We had a wonderful day with an amazing guide, Kaydee! It started perfect with good and clear instructions from the company. Followed up by Kaydees communication about pick up. We got up early in the morning and me and my friend ended up in a total group of 5 people. That was amazing 😍 the atmosphere was chill and we just took life as it was. Got to meet lots of locals and Kaydee was brilliant in following us around. We can highly recommend this to any one else! It was perfectly situated and planned out in a good manner! One of the highlights of our trip. Pick up was a bit disorganised but the rest of the day made up for it. The island was so interesting and trying all the fruits and drinks. Loved it.
What a great day we had with our guide Mike. Everything ran smoothly and on time, from communication the day before, to pickup and drop off. Mike was fun, knowledgeable and caring about his guests. This is not one of those touristy trips where you are bothered all the time with vendors trying to sell you souvenirs. There are spots where you can buy but there is no pressure. It’s about seeing how the locals live. You see the floating markets and have breakfast noodles on one boat, coffee on another and fruit on yet another. You visit a family to see their house. Then there is the fish farm and local orchards before lunch. All followed by a river cruise. This is like a foodies tour! Thank you Mike for giving us an insight into the life of the southern Delta locals. We will recommend this tour to all our friends coming to Vietnam.
I had a fantastic experience on this tour, thanks especially to our guide, Tuan. From the very beginning, he was incredibly enthusiastic, cheerful, and full of positive energy. It was truly contagious. He explained everything clearly, so we always knew what to expect, and his storytelling made the whole experience engaging and enjoyable. You could really tell he loves what he does. The tour itself was very well organized. We got to see a wide variety of places, taste local food, and experience so many different aspects along the way. Everything ran smoothly, and there was a great balance between activities. I would highly recommend this tour, especially with Tuan as your guide!
