Yesterdays 2pm… Unfortunately, this was a really disappointing experience. We turned up expecting to board the Knight Bus, only to find it was at the wrong bus stop and When we went to find it via a sign … it wasn’t even a Knight Bus, just a standard London bus. Boarding then took around 30 minutes, which meant we were just standing there waiting. To make matters worse, they had already run out of Butter beer which the website boasts is included. The host also wasn’t dressed as the Knight Bus conductor, instead wearing Hogwarts attire, which took away from the knight bus which he kept calling a magic bus and was practicing lines off a a phone while waiting for us . Prior to the tour something happened he was on the phone repeatedly telling people they needed to get off the bus as that’s what he was told. Throughout the tour, he became increasingly frustrated,, and spent a lot of time talking about Sweeney Todd and people having their heads cut off. With children onboard, it just didn’t feel appropriate. To top it all off, there was no air conditioning, making the journey very uncomfortable. Sadly, we ended up leaving halfway through. As Harry Potter fans, we were really looking forward to this experience, but it fell well short of expectations. Stick to Warner brother studio tour
Will Sherlock was an awesome guide! Not only is he a true Potter head, he also shared lots of other cool historical facts during the tour. We loved our complimentary potion drink and the quiz, the scarves / ties and wand loans for the tour were also a great touch. My boys (age 11 & 9) loved it, as did I! Great couple of hours and a must for HP fans ❤️
Our tour guide was very entertaining and showed us many corners of London that were seen in the Harry Potter movies. Casual, fun, and informative! Absolutely recommended!
It's a nice tour, especially for those like us who take grueling vacations because we want to see as many things as possible, and it helps you rest. The guide was very nice and funny
We had an amazing time on the Harry Potter Knight Bus Tour around London! Our guide was fantastic—full of energy, incredibly knowledgeable about all things Harry Potter, and kept everyone entertained from start to finish. The driver was also brilliant, very friendly and accommodating, especially while my husband was parking the car. My son absolutely loved the interactive touches, especially trying on the Sorting Hat, using the props, and enjoying the complimentary wizard-themed drink. It really made the experience extra magical for him. A fantastic tour for Harry Potter fans of all ages. We would definitely recommend it!
Great tour! Our guide was Will and our driver Wayne, Will was knowledgeable but more than that he was funny and entertaining and also good with the children in our group, the two quizzes he arranged during the bus ride was great fun for all aboard. At the start of the tour Will used a sorting hat to determine which house those who volunteered would be placed in (chosen with a whisper to which house the volunteer preferred) he also provided Hogwarts props that he encouraged us to use namely house scarfs, ties and wands!!! A thoroughly enjoyable and entertaining experience.”
This tour was brilliant - I would highly recommend it to any Harry Potter fans. We went on the tour on a Sunday morning, so the roads were quiet. It was a nice touch to get a free drink/potion. We got to see parts of London we hadn't seen before. It was a good combination of sightseeing from the bus and walking. The stops allowed you to explore different film locations like Leadenhall Market and Great Scotland Yard. There were lots of photo opportunities. Our guide, Will, and bus driver, Wayne, were amazing. Both were very friendly and helpful. Will is extremely knowledgeable about Harry Potter and London's history. I loved Will's recreation of Ron with the wig! The quiz was fun and interactive. The questions weren't hard, but not simple. I had a super time. Zara (age 13)
Wonderful tour guide Will, he was knowledgeable and made the tour interactive. The tour was impacted by roadworks, limiting opportunities to see landmarks. We think there were missed opportunities to make the tour more about Harry Potter. There are 2 stops, 1 to see the leaky cauldron which was a bit underwhelming but nice shops around. The other stop was unnecessary , there was nothing to see other than being shown an iPad to say ‘this is what the toilets looked like’. Good size group, it wasn’t overcrowded. Nice touch to have a welcome drink/potion. More interactive for kids with the sorting hat. There are 2 quizzes during the tour which was fun. The tour is also around 3 hours, rather than the 2 advertised. Easy to find meeting point and good instructions. Without Will’s engagement and facts including about London we would have likely have been bored.
Brilliant tour and worth the money, will had lots of knowledge and was a genuine Harry Potter fan who spoke with passion. Well done to Robbie navigating the streets of london! Even won the quiz and got a little present ⭐️
The guide, Will holmes (with driver Robbie) clearly knew his stuff and shared it willingly Will went out of his way help guests who had limited battery life on their phone and those with missing guests His quizzes were well thought out and he had a good sense of humour throughout
