You have chance to see the Ho Chi Minh’s Stilt House, where he lived & worked from 1954 to 1969. Then visit One Pillar Pagoda where worships the Godess of Mercy – It is the Asia’s most unique piece of architecture. - Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum is closed on Mondays and Fridays. - Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum is closed at least 2 months (15thJune -15thAugust) for the annual maintaining but still can take picture Mausoleum and visit around that area.

11h00: Visit Vietnam Museum of Ethnology, which focuses on the 54 officially recognized ethnic group in Vietnam. Note: The Women Museum instead of Ethnology Museum closed on every Monday.

15h00: We continue to visit Hoa Lo Prison - was built in Hanoi by French in dates ranging from 1886 to 1889 to 1898 to 1901, when Vietnam was still part of French Indochina. The French called the prison “ Maison Centrale ” which originally used by the French colonists in Indochina for political prisoners and later by North Vietnam for United States prisoners of war during the Vietnam War from 1964 to 1973.

Amazing day trip
We had an absolutely amazing day trip! Our guide, Two, was fantastic — friendly, knowledgeable, attentive, and made the whole experience so enjoyable from start to finish. The scenery and landscapes were absolutely breathtaking. Everywhere we went was beautiful, and the views were even better than we expected. Two made sure we had plenty of time to enjoy everything, take photos, and really experience each place. We had such a wonderful day and couldn’t have asked for a better guide and the bus driver. I would 100% recommend this tour to anyone visiting the area. Definitely one of the highlights of our trip!

Despite the rainy weather, this tour was a fantastic experience! The tour guide (Hoang) personally reached out prior to the tour to confirm a pick up/drop off location and answer any lingering questions prior to the event which was greatly appreciated. He also helped ensure ponchos were provided for everyone, which was definitely needed during v the day of our tour! I loved that this tour included multiple activities, a buffet lunch, an opportunity to learn some of the history of Vietnam and many breathtaking views. I would definitely recommend this tour if you are able to fit it in to your travel plans! 😁
