Hamburg Half-Day Tour: Private & Custom with a Local Guide

We had an incredible tour around Hamburg with Tim. The city is beautiful but it was Tim that made the time special. He planned the tour to be about what we wanted to see through questions prior to the day of the tour and because he is a local, he had unique stories and information about so much of the city. His English is perfect so we could easily understand him. It was a great day and if you can get a tour with Tim, it is a must do in Hamburg!

We had a great tour with Deniz!!! He was informative and patient with all our questions. There was a lot of walking, including stairs. We walked about 8 miles total, but that was ok with us! I wouldn’t recommend if you have trouble walking or standing for long periods of time.

A wonderful house with a very well maintained garden with large swimming pool. Valérie, the hostess, exudes charm and is always well laid out and very helpful. Breakfast can be arranged individually. The man of Valérie, excellent chef, spoils guests here and there with delicious menus. We like to go back anytime.

Fabulous walking tour with Deniz. We covered the old town, office district, warehouse district and port. Very informative journey through Hamburg’s history, culture and architecture. I would highly recommend.

Alini is awesome Kind, very helpful, she knew everything about the spots we visited and answered every question She offered us to take pictures so we have a lot I already recommended her to a couple pf friends

We had the best experience with Aline! She was so thoughtful and insightful, and had the best restaurant recommendations. I cannot say enough good things about Aline and the town she took to make our time in Hamburg unforgettable.

Aline was amazing, a wealth of knowledge and so bubbly! We covered over 10 miles on foot and didn’t notice as we were so engaged. She had taken the time to learn our backgrounds and interests, knew everyone by name. What a delightful time!

Deniz did a great job. Friendly, patient, knowledgeable, easy to talk to. He made a real effort to find out about us before starting the tour.

Saw the most important landmarks of Hamburg. Guide was informative, personable and spoke very good English.

I spent 4 hours on a mostly walking tour (with a few metro rides) with Dave who showed me around central Hamburg. The tour was thorough, the pace was comfortable, and I felt I was able to get a real feel for the city and it’s residents. Dave was knowledgeable, personable, and friendly. I did this tour as a day trip from Berlin which I think worked out well for me.
