The Hamburg Dungeon is a unique and exciting attraction that takes you into the city's dark past. On a journey back in time to the bad old days, terrifyingly true stories and dark characters are brought back to life. Professional actors, historical settings and costumes await you. You'll experience the most horrible fun of your life! Meet the torturer, who welcomes suspicious villagers inside his Chamber of Torment. During the time of the Inquisition, defendants must confess their sins and the judge wants to hear all dirty details. Join the crew on their misson to free the notorious pirate Klaus Störtebeker. Too bad!
Unfortunately, a lot of it is just dark effects and hardly any information; if we hadn't read the descriptions beforehand, we wouldn't have known what some of the sequences were about. Partly. A bit unlovingly developed, more could have been made of the scenery. The free-fall tower at the end was out of service because it was being maintained. Since there was no indication of this here, however, the children's disappointment at the end was great. Beware of the rip-off - you pay two dollars more per ticket to receive a "photo package." In the end, however, you have to pay another 20 (!!) pay euros just to receive them at all. No indication of this in advance either.

Very entertaining, worth it. It is also something for children; it is not that bad

Spooky fun for the whole family
There were five of us there and we all enjoyed it! The youngest was 13, the oldest 76. Spooky, but above all, fun too! It was a real shame that we had booked for 5:00 PM but still didn't get into the 5:00 PM tour; we had to wait another 30 minutes in a totally hot anteroom. That was really stupid; I don't understand how that can happen. What are online bookings for, anyway?
