More of an historical tour than a ghost tour but none the less very interesting. Be aware that Halifax is quite hilly, so if you struggle with walking or with breathing difficulties this may not be the tour for you.

The historic civic heart of Halifax since the 1700s, Grand Parade has hosted military ceremonies, public gatherings, and celebrations for over two centuries. Today it serves as the city's central square and the starting point for your haunted journey.
Located in one of Halifax's oldest stone buildings, The Press Gang is steeped in colonial history and maritime legends. Stories of ghostly encounters and unexplained activity have made it a favourite stop on the city's haunted tours.
Atlantic Canada's largest professional theatre is said to have a few performers who never left the stage. Actors and staff have reported mysterious footsteps, moving props, cold spots, and the lingering presence of former performers.
Established in 1749, this historic cemetery contains more than 12,000 burials marked by only around 1,300 gravestones. The final resting place of soldiers, sailors, and prominent citizens, it is widely regarded as one of Halifax's most haunted locations.

The factual information presented during the tour was so very interesting. Our guide was who had a flair for drama delivered aw ha moments with perfect timing.
🎭 A guide with a flair for drama landing those aha moments right on cue sounds like the perfect way to bring the facts to life, thank you!
There was nothing eerie about the ghost stories. The tour guide walked and talked, ahead of most of the group, making it impossible to hear. Her delivery of the history was too monotone and boring to illicit any chills in any of the tour group.
A ghost tour should leave you with a few chills, and a guide walking ahead while talking, leaving most of the group unable to hear, with a monotone delivery on top of that, falls well short of the experience you came for. We take this seriously and would like to hear more, so please reach out through the platform you booked with so we can look into it. 😣
We loved this tour! Our guide Talia was so lovely and knowledgeable about Halifax's spooky history!
Talia bringing Halifax's spooky side to life is always a treat 🕯️ thank you for joining her!
I was pleased that the tour went ahead even though others cancelled and I was the only participant. I learned so much about Halifax history on this tour, both the sad facts of past tragedies and the quirky stories of haunting characters of the past. My guide Amanda was full of knowledge and so obviously enjoyed her job. I enjoyed hearing the lesser known stories of some of the women who influenced the development of the city. Down by the harbour, I was able to picture scenes from the Halifax explosion, with its panic and confusion, as she told the story of its occurrence. I really appreciated the dynamic learning. I would highly recommend both Amanda and this tour.
Talia did an amazing job and was very informative! Story telling was very captivating and was incredibly knowledgeable about all the sites. Made it a very enjoyable time for everyone! Would recommend this tour anyone stopping in Halifax.
📖 Talia's storytelling has a way of pulling everyone in, and we love that she made Halifax so enjoyable for your whole group, thank you for the recommendation!
We learned so much about downtown Halifax with lots of little facts, fun stories and detailed story lines for some famous people, places and events that were weaved in throughout the tour. Talia was an incredible story teller and had a great sense of humour but also compassion and sombreness appropriately applied to some of the more tragic stories of some groups of people and historical events that are intrinsically tied to Halifax and part of its culture still evident today. She even dressed thematically to match her wonderful personality and dramatic flare thats perfect for a Haunted Walk! We are not the most able bodied people but the pace was slow enough for us to have no trouble and Talia had so much information that we never had a dull moment. There was some walking, some standing and some sitting. It was perfect mix with very little uphill walking! Along the way we also got some amazing recommendations for food, drinks and must dos while in Halifax. Lastly, being a cool Sept evening, we ended up as the only 2 people and normally guides cancel if there aren’t a large enough group but not Talia! She said she never cancels because whether it’s 2 or 20, it’s always fun for her and she never would want to disappoint anyone and I believe that! Absolutely amazing value and highly recommend Talia!
very informative, great story telling, interesting stops if you want to do something different and interesting with your time...this is it
Our guide was awesome! She was very informative & personable. It was nice, as it was only us, so it felt very VIP. The weather was perfect for our walking tour. Very interesting history of Halifax and the ghosts that haunt it.
