Description
Our drive through the city centre takes us past famous landmarks such as the Castle of Good Hope built in 1666 by the Dutch East India Company, City Hall, a baroque building, and the Grand Parade. As we follow the city’s main thoroughfare, Adderley Street, we will see St. George’s Cathedral, the Anglican Diocese of Nobel Peace Laureate Archbishop Desmond Tutu. We will pass the Company Gardens and the Malay Quarter [also known as the Bo-Kaap] which means "Above Cape" because of its location up against the slopes of Table Mountain. Continue to join a sparkling tour, witness the art of diamond cutting and the careful craftsmanship of jewellery manufacturing by skilled experts. You will be offered the option of continuing to Table Mountain, where you can ascend to the top [weather permitting] by revolving cable car. On a clear day it is even possible to see Robben Island where Nelson Mandela was imprisoned on one side and Cape Point on the other.

Should guests decide to be dropped off at the Lower cable way station, guests would then need to make own way back to there hotel.
Guests will be contacted the day prior with collection time.
Should we receive a booking with no pick up and drop details, guests are requested to contact the office, 48 hours prior to tour departure date. failure to provide us with pick up and drop off details, will result guest not receiving a pick up time and missing the tour and no refund will be provided.

Great City tour
We really enjoyed the city tour and, in particular, our guide Mee-Aad May’s explanations. He shared so much about Cape Town’s history, culture and people, making the experience much more meaningful and interesting.
We were genuinely impressed by how much we learned about the city and its past. Mee-Aad was extremely knowledgeable, engaging and passionate, and he made the tour truly enjoyable.
A wonderful experience — highly recommended! ⭐️

phenomenal experience
On July 13, 2026, Mr. May greeted my wife and I with a firm handshake and genuine smile.
Within moments of the tour, Mr. May’s insight caused the unnoticed, yet relevant and awesome historical landscape to come alive. Through his recanting of historical facts and landscape; botanical benefits of controlled burns; and the detailed description of Table Mountain’s formations and herbivore inhabitants, the process of getting to destination (pickup from the hotel to the top of the mountain) became a fascinating journey.
Mr. May’s uncanny ability to share relevant facts about the city’s past not only added clarity, but also highlighted the significance of the present landmarks, events, local businesses, and evolving growth.
By the end of our guided tour, we had gained knowledge; consumed mouth watering locally crafted pastries; experienced one of the New Seven Wonders of the World: and met a young man who is by far one of the best, most professional and humbly knowledgeable tour guides that we have encounter throughout our international travels.
Thank you, Mr. May for hosting a professional, friendly, and enlightening tour. Anyone who books a tour with you is in for a phenomenal experience.
Best Wishes,
Gerald & Edith Leonard

Good tour made special by the driver/guide
The driver/guide was attentive, engaging, considerate, and full of information during this afternoon tour. A general tour of the city areas with a stroll around Bo-Kaap & then on to Table Mountain. Taking the option for the inclusive cable car ticket made the process simple when we arrived, although on our day the queues were not bad the previous day had been over an hour.

A lovely experience
A great half day trip which we enjoyed immensely. Our driver, Adneen was very knowledgeable and friendly.
It was a perfect day for Table Mountain, and gave us an insight into Bo Kaap. Unfortunately we didn't have the time to go back before we left Cape Town.

Stay away from this company
Unable to visit table mountain due to weather conditions. This company have denied paying me a refund as they stated I could have used the ticket within 7 days . Well we live in London so didn’t have 7 days at our disposal. Plus table mountain was closed on the other occasion we tried to visit the very next day

Good tour
Not too much to say. Saw what I wanted to see. I wasn’t happy that the people who booked this tour canceled and I was the only one. It’s always nice to be with others. But I had private tour.

Lucky to have Hamilton as our guide.
Hamilton was brilliant. We were lucky enough to share his vehicle with just one other couple. He really took great care of us and I only feel bad that we were to call him Hamilton because we could not say his given name. The only wish I have is that we could have had more time at Table mountain, we went up with prepaid tickets but had less than 20 minutes as we had to be back down in time to leave. Total time time at Table Mountain was only 75 minutes, not enough time to see anything because we had to jump back up into the line to get back down.
