Half Day - Snow View Rafting in Niseko

It was a pleasure this time to participate in Adventure Smile's boat trip, bringing us the most unforgettable memories of this Hokkaido tour, Basant is really a very professional and experienced boat guide, under his leadership, to dispel my wife's anxiety about boat, in the process, he also arranged fun activities at different times, so that we can feel the charm of the boat of the Valley II, especially impressive is that Basant&Michiyo has arranged some good photos on the shore specific places, and invite us to watch together the wonderful moments of the journey, after the end of the trip, it has gone beyond the standard of the boat, but to create the best memories of the experience of the tour with the Northern Potato, so good after the trip back to the base, and we can discuss the different times in the winter or spring.

One of a kind experience! Everything was so beautiful! The tour guides made us feel safe and made the tour twice as fun. Would definitely redo this tour if we come back.

This was such an incredible experience. The team at Smile Adventures were so professional and friendly. The gear was excellent and the photos were the best taken on our trip. It was like being in another world rafting down the river with snow filled trees and rocks all over. The launch into the river was such fun. We felt safe at all times. I would recommended this activity to anyone visiting Niseko.

Such a fun experience off the slopes! We felt safe the entire time and could not take the smiles off our faces. If we had more time we would definitely go again, the snowball fight was a highlight! Thank you for the fantastic memories!

We had the best time on this rafting trip! Aside from the exhilarating slide into the river at the start, the rapids were gentle and the views beautiful. Basant was a wonderful guide keeping us all entertained and laughing. Highly recommended!

Fantastic trip! Would definitely recommend. Basant, Prem & Michiyo were all wonderful, friendly, entertaining and professional. We always felt 100% safe. A lovely change for a winter activity off the slopes. Absolutely amazing photos too! The slide into the water was a lot of fun. But be careful - Basant throws a mean snowball!

One of the BEST things we did while staying in Kutchan, Hokkaido. Our guide Basant (Best guide ever) picked us up from our accommodations that morning. We mentioned that we left our helmets and goggles in our car down the road so he made a drive out the way for us to pick those up (something to note if you're taking the snow view rafting). We soon met Michiyo (and Walnut 🐕) who had been in constant communication with me during our planning period to ensure all went smoothly. She is the sweetest person and you'll love getting to know her. From there we were quickly setup with everything we needed to stay warm and DRY on our journey (make sure to wear thermals, light sweater, warm socks, and maybe a balaclava. they have you covered on everything else). Once clothed, you jump in the van and get the run down from Basant on safety protocol and what to expect on the river. Solid information sprinkled with light comedy to get your day started. When you get to the river, the rest is what you make it. The views are amazingly scenic, the riding is a fun step away from going skiing every day, and the memories made will last forever. ESPECIALLY if you pay for the photos that Basant and Michiyo take while you're on the journey. Listen to me when I say, BUY THE PHOTOS. They are a deal in comparison to what they are offering and the quality and effort that they put in to the photos and videos make it worth every yen. All in all, we had an unforgettable time and will absolutely be back for another adventure.
