Thank you very much for your good words.
Makis was phenomenal. A fourth generation Santorini native had in depth knowledge if the historical perspectives of the island dating back centuries. He custom tailored the tour to our requirements while ensuring that the experience was first rate and the highlights were all see. I highly recommend him.
Thank you very much for your good words
We had the most amazing day touring with Makis. From the beginning, he listened to what we wanted to see and experience and completely tailored the day around us. He had wonderful suggestions based on our interests, but we never felt rushed or like we were following a typical tourist itinerary. He took us everywhere we wanted to go and showed us places we never would have discovered on our own. One of our favorite stops was a local pottery shop, where we were able to buy beautiful, locally made souvenirs. We really appreciated that Makis helped us experience and support local businesses rather than just taking us to the usual tourist spots. But the most incredible moment happened while we were walking through the small traditional village of Megalochori. We came across an envelope tucked among the old buildings that simply said, “To whoever finds this letter…” We opened it, and unbelievably, the letter told the story of a woman traveling through Europe to honor her sister, Janelle, who had passed away from cancer. My name is Janelle. I was so shocked and emotional that for a moment I actually thought Makis had somehow planted it there, but he hadn’t. It was a completely unexpected coincidence, and it brought me to tears. It became one of those travel moments I know I’ll remember forever. Makis was right there sharing that experience with us, and it perfectly summed up the kind of day we had with him, personal, spontaneous, local, and full of moments we never could have planned. If you’re looking for a local guide who genuinely listens to what you want, knows the island, takes you beyond the obvious tourist stops, and makes the day feel like you’re exploring with a local friend, Makis is wonderful. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide or a more memorable day. Thank you, Makis, for an experience we will never forget!

I had such a wonderful time exploring Santorini with Makis! As a local, his knowledge of the island is truly unparalleled. He shared fascinating stories, local insight, and wonderful recommendations that made the experience feel authentic and personal. He took me to some beautiful spots and made sure I was comfortable and enjoying every moment. One of the things I appreciated most was how accommodating Makis was. He was also available to transfer me from and back to the port, which made my arrival and departure completely stress-free. Having someone so reliable and helpful throughout my stay made such a difference. Makis was friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about showing me his island. Having a local as my personal guide gave me the opportunity to experience Santorini in a way I never could have on my own. I absolutely loved my time with Makis and would highly recommend him to anyone visiting Santorini! 🇬🇷💙 I’m so glad I got to experience this beautiful island with him!
