This is where we will do the pickups (any accomodation or meeting point in Albufeira) and where we going to start the tour.
Pass by the typical village of Paderne to watch the architecture, culture and tradition of the area.
Stop in a place where we have the cork trees for a bit of explanation about the cork process.
Here we will visit a local winery (Quinta do Canhoto) and you will have some wine tasting, cheese, jams, smoked ham and chorizo.
This is where we will finish the tour and we do the drop off in the same place as the pickup place.

Too much driving, going to the Alsafari’s ‘farm’ took too long & was a sales pitch. The wine tasting was the best part with a tour of the vineyards, explanation about how the wines are made, plus yummy tasting. It’s worth it for the wine & driving around town. Overall a good afternoon out.
My experience was amazing and I loved wat I learnt and the drink and the honey and the waterfall experience was amazing I didn't want to leave and I just loved the tour guide John he was great crack

What a great experience. Fred, our driver was knowledgeable, made the whole day educational and fun and he’s a great driver who made our trip feel both exhilarating and safe. The route we took showed us places you’d never see as a normal tourist. Tiny narrow villages that look like a film set, hill , countryside, beautiful rivers and remote areas that you’d never knew existed. Fred even picked us up from our villa! Fantastic service. As for the wine element, this was fascinating. A proper tour of the vineyard, explanations of every process, the innovative way the vineyard works using technology using no weed killer and the wine was wonderful. We bought several bottles, but there was no pressure to do so. This was a fantastic half day trip and we loved it!
Our safari guide was fantastic. It was super dynamic and fun. I only find the value for a tall kid. Since on wine tasting you do not enjoy almost anything. We were sorry the wine proof was 'described' in English which did not allow everyone to get information. Besides it is an excellent experience

Nice afternoon. Lovely and engaging 4x4 guide. Good communication before the trip regarding pick up. Really interesting to hear the wine producing process and challenges. The wines were superb and we enjoyed the accompanying cheeses but we would have liked more information during the tasting and suggested pairings etc. rather than hearing about complex fermenting processes which was all a bit over our heads.

Super day out first we visited a pottery the the wine tasting and (Tapas) our elderly mother 85 enjoyed the whole journey and the wine . Carla is perfect for the job , chatting gull of enthusiasm, lovely person . Oh she was so so I very knowledgable on everything we asked , and to finish off the wine and nibbles were beautiful Sara and Liz and mother
