Half Day Private Walk Wade Guided Fly Fishing Jackson Hole

Excellent experience and would highly recommend Wandering Angler for any fly fishing adventure if you are in the Jackson area! My guide for the day was Jackson, & he very knowlegable, a great instructor and just an all around good dude. I could not have asked for or envisioned a better experience. Honestly , I can't give enough praise to this outfitter. Everything from booking to the fishing was seamless & Jackson put me on some great fish! If your looking to experience some fly fishing as a novice or an experienced angler dont wait & book now. Can't say enough about how great my experience was and how much I learned over the course of 4 hours. For perspective, I went and bought everything to be able to continue fly fishing the next day, I had such a good time. Thank you Wandering Angler & Jackson y'all made my experience one I will never forget!

My wife and I had a wonderful time on the Walk and Wade with our guide Jackson. We caught 5 Mountain White fish and 1 Cutthroat Trout. It was our first time fly fishing and Jackson was a great and patient instructor/guide. We will definitely go again and will do one of the boat trips next time. The weather was perfect with a nice breeze coming off the Snake River. We also saw a Bald Eagle along our walk. Thank you for a great experience. Highly recommended!

Boston was our guide and he was awesome. He helped me land very large Cutthroat w in 30 minutes. We all caught fish and had a great time. Would recommend this outfit and Boston to everyone.

Amazing day on the river - highly recommend! The guides Cody and Jackson were so knowledgeable, patient and fun. We were new to fly fishing, and had a great time learning. Great for all ages and experience level. Loved it!!!

My husband and I had no experience with fly fishing and just wanted the experience. Boston was amazing! He made us feel comfortable right away and kindly taught us the steps to follow. The location was beautiful, and Boston knew the area well. He took care of every detail and all we had to do was enjoy. I highly recommend Wandering Angler! The half day was a good length of time for a first attempt.

My adult daughters and I had a fantastic half day walk and wade trip with Boston on the Snake River. My daughters had not been fly fishing before and he was patient and knowledgeable with all three of us. He had tips for casting and helped us adjust our form. He also pointed out wildlife, wildflowers and animal tracks along the banks. You can tell he loves what he does. We caught whitefish and trout and we are already planning our next trip together. My daughters said it was the best day they’ve ever had on vacation. When we are back in Jackson Hole we will definitely book another trip and request Boston!

We had an incredible fishing trip in Jackson Hole with The Wandering Angler, and our guide, Jackson, made the entire experience outstanding. He was personable, fun, and easy to spend the day with, which made the trip enjoyable from start to finish. Jackson was also extremely patient in teaching us about fly fishing, explaining the different techniques, and helping us understand the different kinds of trout we caught. He was fully prepared with all the gear we needed and clearly put a lot of thought into making sure we had a great experience on the water. What stood out most was how focused Jackson was on making the trip fun, memorable, and successful for us. We highly recommend The Wandering Angler and would absolutely book with Jackson again!

Jackson was an excellent fly fishing guide! My family caught a Rocky Mountain Whitefish and several Cutthroat Trout. Jackson's fly fishing instructions were very easy to understand. We stayed dry in the waders! We have great photos and had a great time!
