My tour guide is professional and easy to communicate. Definitely, you will have a good time for morning either you can do at afternoon kayaking round the cliff edges and in the mangroves. Good for all ages and you are provided with life jackets for those that want or can’t swim. Fun outing, friendly staff and guide. I'm fairly athletic but even so, this was an unexpectedly strenuous 8km+ paddle with some headwinds and a muddy portage due to low tide. If we had asked, though, I'm sure the guide could have brought us on an easier route.
Best way to see what’s behind the beautiful cliffs from the water. Plenty of refreshments and treats provided throughout the journey and highly recommend this tour for putting together a great experience.
My wife and I had an incredible kayaking experience through the Ao Thalane mangroves, and it exceeded all our expectations. We were fortunate to explore during a light rain, which added a magical atmosphere to the journey while the mangrove canopy kept us comfortably sheltered. The scenery was absolutely stunning – paddling through the winding waterways surrounded by mangroves felt like entering another world. Our guide was knowledgeable and attentive, providing snacks along the way and taking great photos for us to remember the trip. The 8km route was easy enough for casual kayakers but still felt like a proper adventure, making this an absolute must-do for any couple visiting Krabi!
Really excellent experience. Prompt hotel pickup in an aircon minivan. Life jacket, wet bag and water provided. Good safety briefing before we set off. Our guide Jaed was excellent, showing the way, telling us about the environment and wildlife and providing snacks along the way. The setting is stunning. The kayaking is easy, water is mostly not too deep. Highly recommend for families with children and groups.
Kayaking across open water to an off-shore towering limestone island sliced with a canyon that leads into a mangrove forest loaded with monkeys. Quite striking!! Guides were very knowledgeable and spoke English.
It was very good and we enjoyed it tremendously. However the communication from the driver could have been better. Probably due to language barrier. The kayak guide was helpful and informative about the animals- sand crabs, starfish, monkeys, etc. The water was calm and easy to paddle
Absolutely amazing trip, We had loads of fun kayaking through the mangroves. The guides were very friendly. We stopped multiple times for cake and drinks, aswell as fresh Thai fruit. Would recommend it 100%.
An amazing experience with our guide Oou. He was so friendly and fun! It was a small group of only 4 of us and that made it so much better. The kayaking was fun, the scenery was beautiful, and there were a couple of very serene moments. Unfortunately there were a couple other groups of like 30 people that we ran into and it made things chaotic but we ended up just pulling to the side and letting them pass which I was grateful for. You don’t need a lot of kayaking experience for this, but I think having some experience probably makes it a little easier. Regardless, I couldn’t recommend more.
The trip was great and overall an awesome experience. Our guide Oou, taught us the basics for kayaking and we explored the beauty of the mangroves together. Bonus: a small picnic with traditional sweets on a tiny beach, where we were highjacked by monkeys! Highly recommended experience. (PS: kayaking is not challenging once you get the hang of it). Big thanks to Oou!
This trip is amazing, one of the best during our travels! Our guide Horan was very patient and kind and give us lots of interesting history about the place and the animals that live there. Really enjoyed kayaking through the mangroves and the picnic en route was delicious 😋
