In the guided tour of the medina of Fez on foot, we will start with the famous entrance to the medina named bab boujlou"d where the blue door was built in the Moorish style, a rich decorative decoration composed of geometric patterns and calligraphy. We will therefore start our walk through Talaa kabira street, which means beautiful climbs and which is partially covered with a canopy and lined with small shops.We will begin to explore the historical sites of the medina by the Madrasa Bou Inania, considered the largest and most richly decorated ever built by the Merinids between 1350 and 1355 BC.

After we will walk through the five markets until we reach the Medersa El Attarine, which is the Medersa of the spice sellers, was built in the 14th century and considered one of the marvels of Moorish architecture, then to explore the Karaouiyine Mosque, (9th century). Considered one of the oldest and most illustrious mosques in the Western Muslim world, Morocco's first university was founded by a nun from Kairouan who donated her material wealth for its construction. After having lunch in one of the restaurants of the medina or having a drink, we explore the El Seffarine square, considered the most important for the production of breweries, silverware and the Smith cooper, to the north of this square where The 14th century Karaouyine Library was built by Sultan Abu Inan and used by leading Moorish scholars. Then we walk until we arrive at the oldest tannery in the world located near the river since the Middle Ages and we enjoy the best view from the terrace to the dyeing vats.

The guide was incredibly friendly and knew a lot about the city, customs and history. He was patient.at our group of 10 people and listened to our wishes. Went with us to the Jewish Quarter and also suggested activities such as the Berber House. Helped us find a parking spot ourselves. He was very nice and friendly.
