Half-Day El Yunque Waterslide Excursion (No Transportation)

Excellent introduction to the El Yunque's Rainforest! A well-rounded 3-hour activity surrounded by the lush beauty of the forest. The trail has a few challenging sections, but our guide, Happy, made us feel very safe, giving us the right tips to navigate the slippery spots and making sure the group stayed together. His energy and good humor were contagious! He also shared some interesting facts about the local plants and wildlife — and we even got to hear the famous coquí frogs singing along the way. Once we reached the natural pools, he kindly recorded all our adventures as we slid down the waterfalls and jumped off the cliffs. It was such a fun experience! We also spent a good part of the tour trying to figure out what Happy might have done in his former life after he casually mentioned that he only had two ribs left that he'd never broken! That definitely added some mystery to the tour — although despite our best efforts, we never managed to get the full story out of him. 😄 Highly recommended, especially if you don't have much time on the island but still want to get a taste of Puerto Rico's beautiful rainforest. Great scenery, lots of fun, and a guide we certainly won't forget!

Adynn was absolutely amazing! She made our El Yunque tour an unforgettable experience. She was incredibly knowledgeable about the rainforest, the history, nature, and every place we visited. You could truly feel how much she loves what she does, and that passion made the experience even more special. She also made sure everyone in the group felt safe and comfortable throughout every activity, which gave us so much peace of mind while still allowing us to have fun and enjoy the adventure. Another huge plus was that she speaks both English and Spanish, which was perfect for our group and made communication so easy. We are so happy we booked a tour for El yunque instead of trying to go alone. It was seriously the best time!!! Gillian our tour guide was amazing. So knowledgeable and patient. I had a PTSD moment on the cliff due to my years in the service and she was so very patient and kind. She talked me through the cliff jump and helped me have such a wonderful experience. Not to mention her music selection was awesome! Our entire tour felt like a party. She also recommended so many great places to visit while on the island. I cannot thank her enough.

Happy (our tour guide) was absolutely amazing. I’m scared of heights and he gave me the confidence to trek to the water slide. Definitely recommend but do need to be fit/ able to climb rocks, slipper rocks, mud. he did offer an easier route for those incapable

Overall, a great experience! Adynn was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about the rainforest. Throughout the entire experience, she made sure everyone felt comfortable and safe, especially those who weren’t strong swimmers. Definitely one of the best and most memorable experiences of our trip! It is a must try!!

Our guide, Gillian (G) was amazing. Highly knowledgeable and attentive to everyone’s needs. I went with a family of 6 and she had another 12 people in her group and we all felt like she knew us for years. She kept us informed, interested and engaged each and every person in her group. She made sure we all were prepared for the day ahead and made the trek through the rainforest seem like a breeze by being at every turn. She was patient and understanding with everyone and very funny and engaging. The tour itself was a 10 out of 10, but she made it even better. This is the best tour I’ve ever taken with anyone. She is the absolute best guide you could ever ask for. This tour is a must. Ask for her!!!!! Can’t wait to go back.

Gillian is the best. If at all possible, request her. Amazing guide, super positive, very attentive and absolutely on top of keeping track of everyone.
