Half-Day Cruise Tour-Dolphin and Whale Watching

Description
Enjoy a dolphin and whale watching cruise, sailing offshore from the southwest coast of Gran Canaria, in the area between Puerto de Mogán and the Maspalomas Lighthouse. Get on board one of our catamarans, safe and comfortable boats that, due to their characteristics, offer a pleasant navigation, with less rolling than a monohull or smaller catamarans. . After sailing in search of cetaceans, we will return to the coast, making a stop of about 30 - 45 minutes in Cala del Perchel, Taurito, Tauro or Anfi del Mar, depending on the sighting area that has been navigated. At that time you can enjoy a refreshing swim, use the snorkeling equipment included in the activity and have a refreshing drink, returning later to Puerto Rico to end the activity.

Great boat and experience but BE WARNED it is out in the Atlantic Ocean, the current and wind is strong even on the sunniest and calmest of days. Sea sickness is real (and gruesome if you’re a migraine sufferer like me). I’m usually fine with boats but this one is something else! The current is strong so not for anyone bar experienced swimmers. Floaties, snorkels and life jackets are available on the boat. ‘Free soft drinks’ are only available during the hour of swimming and are small glasses out of larger bottles. Cans of drink, crisps and some chocolate is available to purchase.
A beautiful experience! Sailing on the sea, seeing dolphins!! They served us refreshments as much as we wanted, some cookies, a shot! We swam in the sea!! For those who needed it, there were pool noodles and life jackets! The crew was a 10! Highly recommended!
Very good. Super friendly crew. The boat is great. We saw whales and dolphins. Nice 45-minute swim. I recommend it!!!!
Enjoyed with this cruise only dolphins can spot but was great only my husband and my son got seasick and the staff are very friendly like us and everyone on board helped with seasickness, in any case it was nice experience
The overall experience of powering through the sparkling blue sea and actually seeing dolphins in their natural environment was amazing and magical! A couple of people in our group became sea sick, so be prepared if you suffer from travel sickness. The crew were great and were used to looking out for this so help was at hand.
Great experience! Lots of dolphins and whales seen!
Pickup at the Yumbo Center went punctually, as did the return trip. Upon arrival on the ship, a photo was taken of our group like every other, which could be purchased on the return trip with or without a keychain. We saw a sea turtle and flying fish, and then finally many dolphins that swam around us or in front of us in groups of four. We also found it very nice to stand at the bow and enjoy the wind. The ship has three decks, open on top, with closed windows below. The crew was friendly and helpful, even with passengers suffering from seasickness. To conclude, there was a stop in front of a cliff, and everyone really enjoyed the refreshment in the sea with a slide or a jump from the boat. The water was dark blue and wonderful.
Very nice tour dolphins spotted and possibility to swim an hour in the sea really nice friendly people good service
We booked this excursion to celebrate my daughter’s birthday. We was picked up local to our hotel and taken to the port. We boarded our vessel which was huge and had a LOT of people on, so we feared it would be difficult to see any wildlife but we was wrong. The captain took us to an area packed with dolphins. They was fantastic and my daughter got loads of wonderful photos. We then had a trip up and down the coast looking for more animals where we saw some flying fish. Then we had an hours swim in the sea with the snorkelling equipment which was fun and we saw loads of fish. There’s a slide at the rear of the boat and you can jump off the side. Pros: Lovely boat, excellent guides. Cons: Drinks are chargeable until the swim stop the they’re free. There’s lots of people on board. Food isn’t provided.
Twice dolphin watching. Nice trip with an enthusiastic guide!
