It was bat-tastic
Our tour guide Bo was great. Informative and fun. I’m a beginner kayak-er and the quick lesson in the beginning was appreciated. Best view is definitely on the water.

Kayaking making me battle!
Beau was amazing. He took all the care to make sure that we knew how to kayak and felt comfortable helped us get in out of the kayaks, gave us so much knowledgeable information about baths we left with nothing to our imagination he had us timed perfectly to be in front of the bats to see them escape and showed us best places on land to see them he couldn’t have been a better guide.

Sunset bat tour
The sunset paddle itself was beautiful and relaxing, and then watching the bat colony emerge from under the bridge was mesmerizing. We saw thousands take off right over our heads. Our guide Bo timed everything perfectly and shared a lot of cool facts about the bats and Lady Bird Lake. Equipment was in great shape and instructions were clear for beginners. If you're in Austin, don't miss the bats!

If you like bats and you're OK with water, do this!
My friend and I were only in Austin for five days and this Bat Kayak Tour was at the top of our list of fun things to do. It was a great experience and lived up to expectations. We had a beautiful couple of hours kayaking along the Colorado River. Our guide, Bo, was informative and entertaining. The group had all levels of experience when it came to kayaking, and Bo was great at keeping the group together so everyone felt safe and included. Seeing the bats emerge in their thousands from under the Congress Avenue Bridge was mesmerising. I would definitely do this tour again, and highly recommend it to anyone who wants to try something a little different :)

Sunset and bats on the water!
This was a great experience. I learned things I didn’t know about the bats here in Austin. Being on the lake going at sunset was beautiful with the skyline. Our guide Lauren was great. She was very informative and helpful. We would recommend this tour 100%!
