From the operator’s live schedule on Viator, checked Oct 9.
Argostoli has been the capital of the Kefallonia Region since 1757. It is the island’s commercial and administrative centre, and has beautiful neo-classical buildings. It’s a modern city with a remarkable historic and cultural tradition. Argostoli, built amphitheatrically with a view to the Lagoon of Koutavos, overlooks the fir tree-covered Aenos. Viewing Katavothres which is one of the rarest phenomena: large quantities of seawater penetrate the land at the location of Agii Theodori at Lassi without retrogressing, re-appearing by the village of Karavomylos near Sami.
PHOTO STOP ONLY Myrtos beach, the most beautiful beach on the island and one of the most beautiful beaches in Europe, with snow-white sand, a paradise on earth is protected by high rocks while the sea offers sublime combinations with colors ranging from blue-green to deep blue.
PHOTO STOP ONLY Assos is built amphitheatrically around the peninsula, which is surrounded by lush areas. The village retains its authentic traditional Ionian architecture and rich greenery of tall pines and cypress trees meet the blue waters of the Ionian sea, composing an idyllic landscape that only nature could create.
We reach the picturesque village of Agia Efimia. It’s a quiet town sporting wide streets and good urban-planning, with a port where numerous yachts from all over the world flock in the summertime.
Τhe wonderfull cave of the numph Melissani and ancient Greek God Panas. Melissani lake cave has been in kefalonia since mythical times, and first explored in 1951. An earthquake created an opening in the roof, of the lake cave, and that roof allows the limited entrance to the Sun rays and creates an extraordinary scene of blue and turquoise waters. We will visit the interior of the lake cave by boat , and we will also see the small island where our ancestors, held ceremonies dedicated to God Panas and the nymphs.
Antisamos beach is the famous beach from the movie “The Captain Corelli’s Mandolin”, which reveals the magic of Kefalonian landscape. The route fascinates visitor, as we cross one of the greenest parts of the island with towering pine trees. We will stop at an appropriate place to take some photos. The beach is pebbly with white sand and surrounded by green hills. The waters of the beach are azure crystals. The beach is organized with a snack bar, sun loungers, umbrellas, and water sports. Always honored with the distinction of a blue flag.
Drogarati cave is over 100 million years old. Keeping that in mind and looking at the impressive formations, you can try and figure out how old they are: they grow approximately 1 cm in 100 years.
The Robola Wine Cooperative of Kefalonia in “Omala” valley. At the winery you can visit the Museum or Robola, and taste free of charge the wines as well as choose and purchase from our wide range of wines.
After the tour is complete we will make the drop - off on the same place from which we picked you up.

An all-around successful excursion! The caves, the island tour, the beautiful beach, and the wine tasting were great experiences. Our guide was excellently organized and ensured that we could visit all the sights before the large tour buses arrived. This made everything much more relaxed and pleasant. Highly recommended! This was an unforgettable trip! We spent such an interesting and enjoyable day exploring Kefalonia, and managed to see and do so much in just a few hours. A very special thank you to our guide, Maria, who was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate—she shared fascinating insights about the island’s history, culture, and everyday life, which really brought each stop to life. The caves and the underground lake at Melissani Cave were absolutely breathtaking—photos truly don’t do them justice. We also loved visiting the charming villages and enjoying the stunning coastal scenery along the way. From the crystal-clear waters of the beaches to the dramatic views at Myrtos Beach, every part of the tour was perfectly organized and memorable. This is definitely one of the best and most complete tours I’ve ever taken—highly recommended!

We had a shore excursion with one other couple. Driven & guided around the highlights of kefalonia in a smart black people carrier. Every corner we turned produced the most splendid views. As a small group we were able to eat together in a small taverna with the waves lapping only feet away. A wonderful day, highly recommended. Thank you to SevenSailing...

This is a well organized and conducted tour in a comfortable van, with a knowledgeable guide. The scenery is exquisite and the underground cave and boat ride a special experience, although there is a long walk on a slope, both up and down. We learned about the history of the Island, geology of the area, and the devastation from the major earthquake. The second cave was basically a large cavern which has been abused by nature and by humans, which added little to the tour. With its 120 steps, it could be skipped.
We are really glad that you enjoyed our services. Thank you very much for your words!
The guide and driver were. Very helpful and informative and had a great sense of humour My wife has knee problems and was helped in and out the vehicle and encouraged to attend all the visits
Thank you for your kind words, we are so pleased that your day was a memorable one and we look forward to seeing you again in the future.
