Guided Seattle Sailing Adventure from Bainbridge Island

Description
Depending on the day, we’ll get up close to seals, explore some beautiful harbors with stunning waterfront homes, and maybe even spot whales. Or we could see a nuclear submarine, inbound container ships, or century-old schooners. You'll learn about Bainbridge Island's unique history, from having the largest shipyard for wooden vessels in the West, to the earthquake that lifted a whole section of the Island 23 feet which can still be seen today, and of being the first place from which Japanese-Americans were forcibly removed from their homes during World War II.

Captain Scott is a great human; kind, knowledgeable, professional, welcoming and easy to be with. We had a beautiful time on the water, enjoying both nature and the Seattle skyline. A great value for the money and a wonderful way to spend the afternoon.
Captain Scott gave us a wonderful tour of SE coastline of Bainbridge Island with good fun wind tacking into bays close up to shoreline. His stories and knowledge were memorable.
Captain Scott was an amazing host. Wonderful views, calm atmosphere and great conversation. Was the most relaxing and entertaining day on the Sound. The perfect sunny weather only enhanced a great experience.
Scott was a great guide - friendly, knowledgeable, and easy to talk to. He shared a lot of information in a way that was informative and engaging, without ever being condescending. We booked the trip as a gift for my husband's 50th birthday, and it was a perfect choice. When my husband mentioned his interest in sailing logistics, Scott took the time to explain several concepts and let him take the helm for a bit, which made the experience extra special. We also appreciated that Scott gave us options for what kind of sights we wanted to see - city skyline or nature. We chose nature and were lucky enough to spot sea lions! Overall, it was a fantastic outing and a memorable way to celebrate a milestone. Highly recommend!
We had a terrific sail with Captain Scott. We learned a lot, had a chance to participate a bit, and just enjoyed the scenery and comfort of a lovely boat with a knowledgeable sailor. Couldn't have had a better time and we'll book again with friends.
If you want a relaxing tour, book with Captian Scot!! So easy to get to, Capt Scot puts you at ease and lets the boat do her magic!!
We had a wonderful time. Captain Scott was very informative and pleasant. Would do this event again when we are in town. Highly recomended
The views were amazing, Captain Scott a gracious and educated host! He let my 9 year old budding sailor steer the boat, while providing us spectacular views of Puget Sound, Seattle skyline, and Mount Rainier. We would book again!
We had a great experience on our private sail around the Seattle harbor. From the moment we stepped aboard, the atmosphere was calm, welcoming, and relaxing—exactly what we were hoping for. The boat itself was very comfortable with plenty of seating, perfect for sitting back and enjoying the views. Our captain, Scott, truly made the tour special. He was warm, conversational, and had a treasure trove of interesting stories about the area, sailing, and local history. It felt more like sailing with a knowledgeable friend than just a tour guide. One thing that really stood out was how attentive and accommodating he was—especially when helping one of our travelers who had some difficulty walking. He was incredibly kind and patient in making sure they got on and off the boat safely and comfortably. Overall, it was a smooth, scenic, and thoroughly enjoyable experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy the beauty of the Seattle waterfront from a peaceful, personal perspective!
My husband and I loved sailing with Scott. We enjoyed a relaxing afternoon on the water and learned a lot about the area. He asked about our interests and even recommended a wonderful hiking trail so we could explore more of the beautiful island. We would definitely sail with Scott again!
