It was a fun time. As mentioned in other reviews, the kayaks are not "100% clear" as stated in the inclusions section and advertised in their photos. It was still enjoyable. I do wish for $95 it was longer than 90 minutes.
Gianni was a great guide, he was very knowledgeable about the different areas we kayaked through. He was on the lookout constantly for things we could possibly see. I went solo but there was a decently size group all together with other people that signed up. I was able to see a crab, a few nurse sharks, a jelly fish, and a massive tarpon. The bottom of the kayak was clear and had a light to help you see. I was able to put my phone down on the bottom of the kayak with a waterproof case and was able to catch one of the nurse sharks swimming under my kayak. Very cool experience, I highly recommend you do it. P.s. wear bug spray so you don’t go eaten alive it is at night and you do yo close to brushes and through mangroves.
Our guide last night was amazing and fun and knowledgeable. We had a great time with him.
We had a great time and learned so much about the history of the Keys and the waterways we traveled through. Going through the mangroves was a really cool experience. We also saw lots of wildlife. Isaac was really patient and calm. He was able to help everyone navigate and have fun from the newest to most experienced kyaker in the group. We had a great time. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
So much fun. Isaac did a great job. Kayaks had plenty of space, had great adventure through water and mangroves at night. Issac was friendly and entertaining. Saw small wildlife (eg. Jelly fish, small fish), nothing “big” but didn’t diminish trip. Guides can’t guarantee animals, if you need that go to aquarium!
Awesome experience! Woukd absolutely do it again! Saw a baby shark, jelly fish and lobster. Plus learning about the aquatic life was cool. Bring bug spray.
Issac was a great tour guide. Night illumination under the kayaks was really meet. We saw all kinds of fish a few small sharks, crabs and starfish. Issac was great explaining about the history of the area and where to go to look for the different aquatic life.
Isaac was amazing! Because there wasn’t a tour after us, we were able to stay out later. Wonderful experience and would definitely do it again!
Several red flags…. While our guide John was good it didn’t make up for the kayaks completely not being even close to what the advertisement shows. These are green kayaks with scratched up clear floors and only one led light bar on the front of the first seat and one on the opposite side in front of the rear seat. Even when you book a single kayak you’re put into a tandem one. You can’t see anything from the floor bottom you have to lean over the side. I took a screen shot of the advertisement today and it states “clear” on the rental. Pack bug spray and wear it, the mosquitos were terrible. I was also made to fill out a separate credit card sheet where they wrote in that they could charge my card the full amount even though I prepaid on trip advisor, I had to sign it and she took a photo of my credit card and DL, I asked her not to show my DL number but she said she had to. We were not out very long and were told we needed to come in due to lightning off in the distance but as we approached another guide had just put all of his group in the water. I was told we’d be refunded as it was “on me” that we came in early for safety but I’ve yet to see it. Very confusing why another group was being taken out if it wasn’t safe for us to be out.
We would have rated this a 5 if a couple of the Kayaks lights didn’t die. Our tour guide was very informative and taught us a lot about the Oceab life and even got a Jellyfish on his paddle for everyone to see.
