Guided hike in Berlin/Brandenburg

The hiking trip was great! Nicole is so incredibly knowledgeable about the hiking area that it made it even more special. If you're in Berlin, and you want to escape the busy city, Wanderwoman is a fantastic option. Great for small groups or even solo travelers.

I wish I could give this 6 stars! Communication before the hike was excellent. Nicole listen to what I hoped for in a hike and my limitations (bad knee) and selected 2 possible options. a storm came through 2 days before our hike. After hearing one trail was closed, she rode her bike out to make sure that other was still good. The hike was lovely at a level my knee could handle. She was a great conversationalist and made sure to point out animals and plants that I would have missed. It was a hot day and her recommended stop to wade on the lake was an extra treat. I had a lovely day, What a delight to experience the area outside the city. If I ever make it back to Berlin I will definitely do this again!

Our guide, Nicole, knew the hiking trails in Germany very well, and we were able to enjoy various situations. I made a bothersome request to take pictures of birds while walking, but she fully accommodated that request. Berlin is a historically very unique place, and it was a very special experience to hear from Nicole, who lives in Berlin, about the influence of those historical events on the scenery seen on the trail. Unlike Japan, Germany has many forests that have been protected for hundreds of years, and I thought it was wonderful that they blended into the everyday scenery.
