Your tour starts with a ride in our comfortable van out to the idyllic countryside of Lancaster County, where horse and buggies on the roads and farmers in the fields are common sights. You will be fully immersed in their way of life with a visit to the Amish Village Museum, a preserved Amish homestead that is now open to the public. Come with an appetite as you enjoy some homemade Amish cooking at a local restaurant. Afterwards, you'll have a chance to savor some yummy sweet treats like whoopie pies and shoo fly pies from a local bakery. This was a great experience, we met our great guide Dale on time. He had planned a wonderful day where we got to see how the Amish lived and worked. Additionally, we got to meet some and learn about their way of living. Our guide, has invested time and effort building relationships with the community and that gives a great experience for the guests in a respectul way for the Amish community. Additionally, Dale provided us with great background on the Amish. Fantastic experience.

Everything about the day was exceptional. I had a blast learning about the Amish culture, seeing the animals, landscapes, and trying the delicious food. Jason was one of the best guides I’ve experienced and I appreciate his patience, knowledge and genuine passion for sharing Philly!
James drove our small group giving us very comprehensive information about the Amish way of life and their history throughout the drive. He knew the answers to our many and varied questions, even some quite off topic. The Lancaster countryside was very picturesque and James took us to a variety of Amish properties.
