Go early in the day it is cooler and less congested. Our driver was great and our guide was delightful.
was a great way to see many of the city’s highlights in a short amount of time. It gave us a wonderful overview of Philadelphia and made it easy to decide which areas we wanted to explore further. One suggestion would be to incorporate a little more humor or comedy into the commentary along the way. I think that would make the experience even more entertaining and memorable. I also wanted to mention an interaction that left me a little uncomfortable. As I was getting off the bus, one of the workers approached me about tipping and yelled, “Hey lady” to get my attention. His tone came across as rude and made me feel pressured about tipping. I completely understand that tips are appreciated, but I think there is a more professional and respectful way to communicate that to guests.
Excellent tour. Very convenient to hop off and on. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour and tour guide was very knowledgable.
This was my first trip to Philadelphia. I booked the trip do I could see as much as possible. It was definitely worth it. I liked the option to get off if you wanted to explore more, visit a museum, shop, etc. If you didn’t get off, the full trip was 90 minutes. The guide was very informative as we traveled the route and the driver did a great job navigating traffic.
Great way to get to know the main parts of the city and an excellent way to see the sights Philadelphia is known for.
My family and I make a point of taking a Hop On Hop Off bus tour in every new city we travel to. This was our first time in Philadelphia and I hopped on the bus. It was a beautiful day to see the city and William was an excellent tour guide. He was personable, knowledgeable and happy to engage with me in all the questions I asked. Worth every penny!
Worth the money. Very informative and seemed pleased to share the history of Philadelphia. Quick on/off. Bus was very clean.
Ask if i get off how and where do i get back on. I wanted to get off at museum but wasnt sure id get another bus
Booked 2 day experience. first day we used it to go the whole route and get acquainted with the city. Second day we went back to 3 places. The wait for the next bus was too long. We waited over a half hr. before the next bus came. Also, we found out later we could have used the other bus company which we were never told about since that bus came more frequently. Since it’s advertised as hop on and hop off, the frequency should be a bus that comes every 15-20 mins. We ended up using uber more and with three people, it was more convenient to use uber. Did not feel like I got my money’s worth for a two day pass.
Great way to see all of the main attractions! No fighting traffic or parking. Great experience! Do this in every major city.
