Out of world service
The guide was out of this world exceptionally good. He had so much love and caring. Just before the trip one of my right toes got infected. I was walking with pain. He personally borrowed a wheelchair and rolled me through a long trail. I joined many guided tours but this tour was best with the BEST guide.
Operator response
Dear Rebecca,
Thank you so much for your incredibly kind review. The guide was deeply touched by your words and wanted to send you his warmest wishes. He was especially honored to learn about your grandmother’s contribution to Korea’s independence and greatly appreciated the opportunity to help you experience Gyeongju despite the pain in your toe.
We sincerely hope you have recovered well, and we would be delighted to welcome you back to Korea someday!

Incredible half-day in Gyeongju
It was wonderful! I was the only participant so I essentially had a private tour. My guide was super friendly, knowledgeable, and even though he didn’t speak English it was surprisingly easy to communicate through the translator app. I 100% would recommend this tour to anyone visiting Gyeongju who wants to learn about the rich, interesting history of this region.

Don’t miss this tour!
Fantastic experience all around! One of my favorite days in Korea.
The guide is a local who was born in the area and came back after retirement to run these tours and share his love for the region with others. Despite only speaking Korean, he communicated just fine using technology, and shared lots of interesting information with us throughout the day. All of the sites we saw were beautiful, interesting, and highly worth seeing. We could never have managed these visits on our own without the tour.
The vehicle was spotless and smelled new. So the ride itself was also super comfortable.
Finally, we stopped for lunch in an AMAZING local spot (we were the only foreigners there) where I was able to try authentic Korean food that happened to be vegetarian/vegan (usually it’s a hassle and I have to ask for things removed).
So overall it was truly an amazing day and I cannot recommend this tour enough! A MUST if you’re in Gyeongju for any amount of time.
Operator response
Dear Tamara,
Thank you so much for taking the time to write such a thoughtful and detailed review, and sorry for the late reply. The guide remembered your wonderfully positive and enthusiastic attitude throughout the day. He told us that your genuine curiosity and excitement made the experience especially enjoyable for him and encouraged him greatly as a guide.
We are also delighted that you enjoyed the local restaurant and found authentic vegetarian and vegan-friendly Korean food there. We always try to introduce our guests to places that offer a genuine local experience, but since everyone has different tastes and dietary needs, choosing a restaurant can sometimes be one of the more challenging parts of the tour. Your generous feedback gives us great encouragement and helps us feel confident that we are making good choices for our guests.
It means a great deal to know that this became one of your favorite days in Korea. Thank you again for your warm recommendation and for sharing such a memorable day with us. We hope the rest of your travels were just as wonderful!

Book This Tour!
What an incredible half day tour! Our guide is so passionate and enthusiastic about what he does. He was knowledgeable, thoughtful, and really wanted us to have a good time. Though we didn't speak the same language, we had no problem having a full conversation with Papago.
We didn't feel rushed at all and and was encouraged to take our time to explore every stop. Would recommend this tour to everyone!

Thank you so much for this heartwarming review! The guide wanted to say that he truly appreciated your openness and willingness to communicate across the language barrier. For him, sharing his love for Gyeongju is much more than simply visiting its landmarks, so it means a great deal to know that you could explore each place comfortably.
Thanks again for your kind words and recommendation!

Particularly personal, attentive and a nice reminder of the various locations visited in 4 hours.
A special experience and one I highly recommend. I was the only one who was taken to 4 places with the guide for more than 4 hours. One
Slight disappointment that the expected English speaking guide did not appear to be there. But the phone with debit card is a great alternative for that. However, a point of attention to rather attach it and not communicate with phone in hand. But all is forgiven, because the guide was particularly attentive and we also had good substantive conversations. You were really welcome as a guest and disinformation given was very good Conclusion. Great activity and the guide Yong was special and attentive and really interested in the other. Recommended!

Excellent guided tour
We were picked up and dropped off at our hotel. Our driver was lovely and took us to some lovely places. We also had free time to explore some sites and museums.
Our driver used a translation app to converse with us in English and this worked well. He also recommend places for us to visit during our trip.
It was an enjoyable day out.
