Fantastic Trip – 100% Recommend We had a fantastic day at Gubei Water Town and the Simatai Great Wall. From start to finish, everything was seamless. We were met in the hotel reception, driven comfortably to the site where the driver helped with the tickets when we arrived. This made everything really easy and stress-free. We spent the afternoon exploring the water town and then went up to the Great Wall for sunset. It was an absolutely inspirational experience and, of all the places we visited in Shanghai and Beijing, this was definitely the highlight! We walked back through the water town with all the lights on, which was beautiful. There are loads of places to eat too, including pizza, which was a godsend with two teenage boys! We were then met at the entrance and quickly transported back to our hotel. The whole day was really well organised. The value for money was absolutely worth every penny, especially when you consider that a coach trip would have worked out at a similar cost for the three of us, but with all the hassle of meeting at a metro station somewhere and travelling with a group. Having a private driver made the whole experience so much quicker, easier and totally stress free. 100% recommend — if you’re visiting Beijing, definitely put Gubei Water Town and the Great Wall on your list!

Benny organized a perfect trip for us to Gubei Watertown and Simatai wall night visit. The car was a nice 7-seater which was perfect for my family of 4 with teens. The guide explained everything very well and arranged the tickets for us.

We wanted to go to the summer palace that was not in the itinerary and they still arrange the visit because it was on the way 👍 they help us get the tickets for entrance too and some advice and tips: we started the trip around 9:30 am and ended 11:00 pm. We got a personal driver to drive us from beijing to Gubei and return the next day..driver is v friendly, we chatted quite a bit as we can speak Mandarin..he is early on both legs to wait for us, and we communicate easily via WeChat on pickup points. Highly recommend Gubei, stay at least 1 night else it's not enough.

Benny is very friendly. He provided one of the best rate among those I have checked. Driver is on time and polite. He helps to fit 5 of us and 5 luggages into a 7 seater car. No deposit was required and payment after trip completed. Highly recommend!
