Edward was not just a guide. He was a teacher. Although there were only three of us who were non-Russian speakers, he still patiently explained the historical significance of the monuments and landmarks in English. There were times when he would ask about something he had previously mentioned. Like a not-so-diligent student, I would either be mum or give an incorrect response. Good thing! One of the travelers from Macau would give a right hunch. Aro, the driver, made us feel safe, despite the long distances. I highly recommend this trip! If there’s one area for improvement, it’s the meet-up “mechanics.” Didn’t know one could reserve a seat by just leaving - cap/towel and come back 1 hour later.
Magnificent experience during this tour, our guide Edouard was a well-stocked source of information and explanations, a big thank you to him! Bring good walking shoes and a great desire to learn about the history of Armenia
Wonderful in its richness and experience. The ancient monasteries and majestic mountains of the Caucasus fell in love with me in Armenia without a residue. Many thanks to our guide Edward and driver Karen, with whom our journey was interesting and comfortable.
