We had a wonderful tour with Meredith. She texted us earlier in the day to confirm and also so we'd have her contact info, which was helpful. The supernatural part of the tour was really interesting but we also enjoyed learning about New York City history in these areas. Meredith's knowledge and enthusiasm made this a great experience. Thank you!

Leader very knowledgable! A little too much information at times, but interesting. I expected things a little more spooky!
Thank you for your feedback! We’re glad to hear you found the guide knowledgeable and the tour interesting. We also appreciate your thoughts about the pacing and the spookiness — we’ll keep that in mind as we continue improving the experience. We hope to welcome you on another tour soon!
Great, fun experience. Mary was very knowledgeable and had great stories about the area and history.
So glad you enjoyed it! Mary’s knowledge and stories really make the history come alive.
Was a very informative history of reported paranormal activities and the backstories from which they may have originated.
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed the mix of history and paranormal stories—always makes for a fascinating tour!
If you're looking for a different side of New York, one filled with haunted history and unforgettable atmosphere, this tour is exactly what you need. This nighttime experience is the perfect blend of spooky storytelling and rich local lore, all set against the backdrop of one of Manhattan’s most historic (and haunted) neighborhoods. Our guide was incredible; equal parts historian, storyteller, and entertainer. Even my son (who afraid from dark) enjoyed with the stories. By the time we arrived at the finishing corner, the neighborhood’s quiet, gaslamp glow felt perfectly spooky and surreal. This tour is more than just ghost stories, it’s a walk through time, art, architecture, and the shadows that still linger in one of NYC’s most storied neighborhoods. Whether you're a paranormal believer or just in it for the fun and folklore, you’ll leave with goosebumps and a whole new appreciation for Greenwich Village.
Thanks so much! We're thrilled you enjoyed the spooky side of NYC—so glad even your son had fun!
This tour exceed expectations for an enjoyable evening. I don't like ghost tours by my family wanted to go on one. There were eerie moments for sure but I also got a lot of gerat history from the neighbohrood. Mary was a great resource of knowledge. We had a really fun group of people from around the world and it was a super enjoyable evening.
Thanks for joining! Glad you had fun even as a ghost tour skeptic—Mary is awesome!
We love ghost tours and Tours by Foot leads the best because they don't dress up and phone it in with fake stories. This is real history and drama told in a not too spooky way. Its family friendly, my youngest son at age 7 loved it.
Thank you for your fantastic review! We're thrilled to hear your family enjoyed the authentic, family-friendly experience and real stories on the ghost tour!
My girlfriend and I took the tour with Mary and we both enjoyed it. Mary seems not only knowledgeable but has this witty personality that made her one liners kinda funny. She was engaging, kept things at a good pace and was enjoyable having as our tour guide!
Thank you for the great review! We're so glad you and your girlfriend enjoyed the tour with Mary—her knowledge and witty personality truly make the experience memorable!
Our guide was great. Lots of history and things to see. She was very knowledgeable and even gave recommendations on other things to do. The only thing I would say is I wish the volume on the mic was a little louder as it was difficult to hear her over the traffic and other people at some points during the tour.
I love Tours By Foot NYC. They always have quality tours. Their Ghosts of Greenwich Village tour took us through Washington Square Park, to the tragic Triangle Shirtwaist Factory fire, Mark Twain's house, an old speakeasy, as well as a site connected to Vice President Aaron Burr! I feel like this tour is suitable for both ghost tour fans, those who want to try something unique, as well as people who just enjoy history and would love to take a night tour! Try Tours By Foot NYC!
