Our next stop is Inveraray Castle, the ancestral seat of the Dukes of Argyll -Chiefs of the Clan Campbell whose family have resided in Inveraray since the early 15th century. The Castle’s fairytale façade house’s an equally fascinating interior. Alternatively, you can choose to visit Inveraray Jail and courthouse, an award-winning museum that graphically recounts prison conditions from medieval times up until the 19th century. You can also enjoy a delicous lunch from one of many local quality eateries. The ideal family or small group day tour. Please note that as Inveraray Castle is closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, our tours will visit the iconic Stirling Castle on those dates.

The driver was prompt, flexible and pleasant. If you book this, however be aware it is an excursion not a tour. You are dropped off at sites and picked up later. We had plenty of time at Stirling but not enough at Luss. All and all, though, a good experience.

Nice recommended tour with Craig despite a lot of rain. We visited Stirling Castle and Loch Lomond with the charming village of Luss. Although there were only two of us, the tour was reliably carried out (the opposite of Paddywagon Tours—which stood us up four times on our trip!)

I was assigned Craig as my tour guide. He was a young man who drove safely throughout the day. The tour used a Mercedes Vito van so was nice and comfortable. Craig was informative and kept the conversation in the van positive and light hearted. Stirling castle was superb. A very interesting historic place. Next stop was Luss on the shore of Loch Lomand. It was a nice village to wander around albeit very busy. We returned back to the ship in a timely manner.

Excellent experience. Mike was a great guide, familiar with history and the most beautiful paths in the region. The beautiful landscapes, the unforgettable castle of Inverary and Luss, charming Scottish village on the edge of the Loch, are charming and unforgettable.

We were greeted by Mike in the cruise terminal with our names on a card. He was so welcoming and knowledgeable about the area. Despite the weather being a little rainy he always picked us up and made sure that we were taken care of. He had fresh water and even a little local treat. We had a wonderful time with this tour! Highly recommend.
