Description
Immerse yourself in the rich history of the Portuguese Discoveries on a half-day trip to the West Algarve with an expert local guide!
In addition to the golden Church of St. Anthony, a national monument, Lagos is home to what was once one of the main slave markets in Europe during the 16th century. Pay a visit to the Antonine Museum inside the church to explore historical relics, and stop by the Statue of Prince Henry the Navigator to discover Lagos’ significant role in the Age of Discoveries.
Further west, Sagres is home to a beautiful, well-preserved fishing port, near its 15th-century fortress. A visit to Cape St. Vincent, once known as the "End of the World," is a must. As the most south-western point of Europe, it offers breathtaking views and the chance to witness one of the most unforgettable sunsets. The cape also houses Europe’s most powerful lighthouse.
Please note: All entrance fees are at your own expense.

Very poor organization and disappointing.
We were unable to come visit; the bus moved the time up by 35 minutes and we were not informed.
We are very disappointed not to have been able to see these places, and furthermore, we would like a refund because we received no notification of this change. Furthermore, we asked for proof of what the provider claims about having contacted us, which is a total, pure lie. We do not intend to leave it at that because we paid 48 euros each, which is not a trivial sum, and we saw nothing. To us, this looks like a tourist trap, which is very unpleasant. A provider at the port of Vilamoura contacted us to change the time of a zodiac tour for the Benagil caves visit and had no problem reaching us. If we are not refunded, we fully intend to inform future tourists on the web about what looks like a scam. Hoping that you will understand our position on this dispute. Furthermore, we came to your region to visit and learn about your culture.

Good Trip
Seeing Lagos and St. Vincent Cape were very memorable. We just spent most of the day picking up people and driving which made it tiring for elderly folks.

Was ok but wouldn't do it again
Ok if you like spending hours on a coach, the sights were ok but it was just too long on a bus, would be better if the guide told everyone to keep to the same seats when the return to the bus,a lot of bickering from the French and Germans,us Brits just kept a siff upper lip

Worth the price
The trip is worth the price. When stopping in Lagos, go straight to the small beaches. They are stunning! Then, you won't stop in Sagres and you will have 40 mins for St. Vincent Cape. Bear that it's really windy there in mind and take a jacket.

Too short
We had hoped longer in sagres and cape st. To be Vincent. Sagres we didn't even stop, at St. Louis. Vincent we could certainly have enjoyed much longer!

Lagos, Sagres & Cape St. Vincent were great, shame about the bus trip
Unfortunately, it has turned us off large bus trips for good. Even though the sights were excellent and we so much enjoyed seeing Lagos, Sagres & Cape St. Vincent, the bus trip was not enjoyable at all. We never complain but firstly my family, husband and daughter were separated from one end of the bus to the other and we were not given the opportunity to change at any time during the trip. Most people were not friendly towards us and we had this constant, extremely loud tour guide that mostly spoke in a different language the whole trip which resulted in us all having a headache. Never again. All our other tours were with a mini bus and they were excellent but totally booked out for this tour, so we thought this would just as good, little did we know.

Fairly good, we had an hour in Lagos, not much time to do anything. A 20 min photo stop, a 20 min stop at Cape St. Vincent and a drive past Sagres harbour. It was OK but nothing startling.
