Everything a tour should be!
Majestic scenery obviously! Our guide Brad entertained us with a Hopi creation story, told with reverence, the 3 stages of volcanos, ground vs. canopy wildfires, the DUDE principle (look it up!), and Teddy's folly that resulted in year round elk hunting. He shepherded us in a timely manner for the actual sunset, preordered our dinner to save waiting, knew all the best vistas, stayed with us and generally accomodated us with water, blankets, multiple shopping and rest breaks. Brad navigated hairpin turns and switchbacks, our ride was always smooth, braking for an elk sighting once. Best guide, great tour!
Operator response
Dear Arizona Traveler...The sunset tour with Brad earning your 5Star comments is terrific! Thank you. Brad is a seasoned professional on all tours but the sunset is his specialty. I love that he incorporated his love and knowledge of the Hopi in your tour. How special! We appreciate you mentioning safe driving as terrain and wildlife must be safely navigated. Thank you for taking a moment to post this great review

Our guide was incredible. He was a wealth of knowledge on everything Grand Canyon and Sedona. I don’t think I have ever had a better guide! Being on the Grand Canyon during sunset was a highlight of my life and something my family will always remember.

Sunset tour
This tour is definitely worth it. Our guide Charlie was very attentive and full of knowledge about the area. It made the long drive go quickly. We had a few stops on the way to get snacks and bathroom breaks. Once we got to the park we stopped at several vantage points for pictures. It was a combination of exploring on our own and guided tour. We were a small group so we basically picked what we wanted to do. For example we chose to grab sandwiches and eat in the van so we could spend more time at the park. We did a short walk along the rim at sunset and it was a great way to end the day. If you want to visit at sunset I highly recommend getting this tour. The roads after dark are windy without street lamps. Charlie was also more than willing to snap photos if you wanted. He knew the best spots and angles to get great pictures.
Operator response
Sunset at the Grand Canyon is a singular experience so glad Charlie could customize this experience for you. Charlie is an avid photographer and delights in helping guests get the best photos to have for a lifetime. We appreciate the stars and for selecting us to tour with us.

Perfect Day - Great Introduction and Learning Experience
Never been to the Grand Canyon and always wanted to go. This tour gave us an amazing introduction to the place. The tour guide, Brad, was extremely knowledgeable, enthusiastic, very respectful, extremely welcoming of every one and humble about his vast learnings which he shared with us constantly, a great person to be around.
His knowledge covered the environment, mythology, anthropology and astronomy of the area. He was the next highlight after the big hole in the ground and the reason you should take this tour instead of driving yourself.
His driving was also great, safe and with purpose - after a long day for every one he was still confident and assured behind the wheel.
Dinner was fantastic, homey feel and filling. The surprise stop to gaze at the stars on the way back was an unparalleled opportunity to see the sky and a superb finish to one of the best days I've ever had.
I also never leave reviews and don't sign up to things to preserve my privacy, reduce spam, etc. I made the choice to do this for TA based on this tour

Do it!!!
Even though the canyon was entirely fogged in and we couldn't see the bottom or the other side, we had a memorable trip with our amazing guide Brad. He was so knowledgeable and friendly, and very helpful especially with my friend who has visual impairment. We had plenty of time and multiple viewpoints. Highly recommend this trip, regardless of the weather!

Don’t pas this one up! THIS IS THE BEST tour to the Grand Canyon.
Wow! 100%… THIS is definitely the trip to take to the Grand Canyon!!!! First Class treatment on this trip! We struck GOLD by having Brad as our tour guide!! He was funny, very knowledgeable and so very kind! He allowed plenty of time to experience the Grand Canyon do some shopping and take plenty of potty breaks. From the moment he picked us up at our hotel until the drop off later that evening, Brad continually provided us with information about the lands, the flora and fauna, area history, Indian history . He was an incredible wealth of knowledge. He got to know each of us and shared his own personal information and experiences. Thank you Brad for a wonderful day!
Operator response
