Gustavo was great, really knowledgeable and a great personality for the tour. He explained a ton of hidden gems and truly cared about the Alhambrah, its history, and its national heritage for Spain.

Conchi was incredible. She told us all the gossips and stories from the Alhambra, and not only that but also the history behind. She made sure everyone got some of the best pictures in the Alhambra and the gardens and gave us recommendation on other activities to do. Very much recommended.
Gustavo (Gus) was an absolutely amazing guide! He was incredibly knowledgeable, funny, personable, and made our Alhambra tour both fascinating and enjoyable. His immense knowledge of the history of the Alhambra and Granada really brought everything to life. A true gem of a guide—we highly recommend Gus to anyone visiting Granada!
We selected this tour due to the good TripAdvisor Reviews. Our tour was scheduled for 10am & we arrived at 9:30am as requested. However since we were driving in from Seville, we were not aware that an earthquake had hit Granada earlier that morning. It was also pouring the rain & storming when we arrived & everyone was gathered under the porch of the information building. We soon found out that the site was temporarily closed for inspections for damage from the earthquake. We walked around through the crowd calling out for City Wonders and looking for a sign or anyone or a guide connected with our tour without any luck. We also repeatedly messaged City Wonders through the Trip Advisor app to try to find out information about what we should do. We did receive auto replies that they would respond within 48 hours. Finally we left after over two hours of no information and went to a local mall to eat lunch. Finally at 11:51am we received a text from City Wonders that the site had reopened & asked if we'd like tickets to tour without a guide. We agreed and went back & the site accepted our ticket to enter the palace without a timed entry. We didn't have a guide but at least we got in & they have promised a Partial refund. To be fair, the site provided no public information regarding whether the site would be reopened or when. However it was very frustrating to receive no response from City Wonders to our numerous messages- at least 10 for over two hours of waiting there. We also called City Wonders but the person who answered had no clue. They came through in the end & we were thankful to get in but the total lack of communication was frustrating and unacceptable.

The tall guide Gustavo was easily visible at the meeting area and was very welcoming as we arrived. The tour started on time with an explanation of where we would pass and what we would see. We walked round at a leisurely pace and he found us shade where possible which made the walking more pleasant. His repartee was most informative and displayed a true passion for his home town which gave us a captivating insight into this beautiful palace and medina. We would recommend Gus and I’m sure his colleagues aswell to deliver a truly positive and enthralling guided journey through such a stunning historic site.
Our guide Gustavo was incredible, great at keeping everyone engaged and used his extensive experience to make the viewing as complete and enjoyable as possible.
We missed our guide and had to purchase another guided tour on site. It was extremely frustrating to watch the group we were supposed to be with leave and not be allowed to join them. The advertised tour time is also misleading. If guests are required to arrive a certain amount of time before departure, this should be clearly reflected in the stated meeting time.
