Grace Bay Luxury Catamaran Reef Snorkel Sail

The captain, crew and boat were top notch! We didn’t want to commit to a full or half day so this 2.5 hour excursion was perfect. I wish we could’ve seen a bit more wildlife during the snorkel, but it was still a wonderful experience.

Amazing experience great value experienced staff

This trip was so worth it! The staff was attentive, the boat was beautiful and clean, the snorkeling was amazing. The ride to the reef was nice, they gave us free juices and soda. Once we got to the reef they went over safety and set up a barrier for where we can snorkel. This actually made me feel so safe. I have been on a few snorkeling trips with various companies and none have ever done that. This ensures you won’t get dragged out to sea and that you are being safe! They provided a comfortable floaty that fastens around your waist, which was so much better than holding on to a noodle or having a life vest. We had about an hour to snorkel which was plenty of time. We saw so many fish and even a reef shark! They had a fun slide on the boat as well! After snorkeling they opened up the bar and provided some cookies and fruit. The drinks were flowing and delicious! Overall, the staff was super friendly and knew what they were doing. Never once during the trip did my group wish something was different. 10/10 recommend, we will definitely be doing this one again if we ever find our way back to Turks and Caicos.

General review: Overall a great experience seeing lots of fish (nothing exciting like a shark or octopus or eel or anything other than "regular" fish). Actual time in the water was less than an hour which was a bit disappointing. Open bar and snacks after were great. Thoughts: * Catamaran has two pickup spots. Ritz-Carlton and a second resort not far down the beach. If you can, choose the Ritz. It is the first pickup spot (where it is docked) and also the final destination. If you choose the other spot you'll miss out on roughly 30 minutes (2x15) of boat time. * Snacks were great on the boat after snorkeling. Open bar with Turk's Head beers, rum punch, other mixed drinks, sodas, etc. Snacks were plenty of mixed fruit and cookies. * Actual time in the water seemed short. Definitely no more than an hour. * While there were plenty of fish, I wouldn't say the variety was great. No sitings by anyone of eels, sharks, rays, etc. Just fish. But, since I only saw three fish and three rays in the water outside my resort while snorkeling there, (Point Grace Resort has super clear water but basically just plain sand in the water), I definitely suggest doing this trip to see fish and coral. * I usually get bad motion sickness but took two Dramamine 30 minutes beforehand and had no issue at all. Even though it was windy, the catamaran was pretty stable. * If you can get on the boat first, I'd suggest you sit on one of two open nets with the water directly under you instead of the regular bench seats. * The snorkel gear they had was not great. Air tube was short and got water in it fairly often if not careful. Mask fogged up and no instructions or solution to clear it up. We have our own cheap Amazon set (under $40) and noted we'd much rather use ours if we did it again. * Crew was very friendly

Picked up at The Ritz and Grace Bay Club and headed to the reefs. Great crew (John & Brent) with the Captain. About an hour of snorkeling with very cool reef and smaller fish. The crew was on our borders with buoys the whole time and kept the group safe. Nice open bar and fruit & cookies after with a final sail back to shore. Perfect 2/12 hours on the water! Thanks!

Awesome!! The crew was very professional. I was a little worried when I saw where we would be snorkeling, near where some waves break but it was honestly, the best experience I’ve had in awhile. There was not a lot of coral but plenty of colorful fish. I also loved the float belt everyone was required to wear, so much more comfortable than a life vest but kept you buoyant. After snorkeling, there were snacks of fruit and cookies. Would highly recommend them!!

This snorkeling trip was exceptionally well run. The catamaran is new and in perfect shape, the snorkeling masks and fins were in good condition, crew was helpful both onboard and in the water, and the included drinks and cookies were a nice touch. The snorkeling are has a wide variety of fish and corals.Highly recommended.

Very friendly staff and clean, safe ship. Must do for anyone in the Turks. Easy to access launch points and great snorkeling.
