I strongly recommend Lalit and his tour guide driver company (Private Drivers India). Lalit is professional, knowledgeable, personable, patient, adaptable, and he has good English skills. He is an excellent and safe driver in a country with loose standards for following rules. His knowledge of the complex road systems was impressive. He navigated unpredictable traffic (e.g., livestock) and road conditions, unwritten road rules, and sudden diversions with calm control. He covered long-distance stretches with aplomb. Lalit kept the new and spacious SUV spotless and odor-free. The air-conditioning worked well and he was always well stocked with water and snacks. He was very effective in dealing with the local population, which involved negotiations that are a mystery to western ears. He provided very interesting local storytelling while still allowing us appropriate quiet time. He was absolutely punctual, showing up early, respecting the itinerary schedule we had developed while making very helpful, suggested improvements. He promptly responded to communications around the clock. He incorporated appropriate stops for roadside tea, local craft workshops, and interesting tourist viewpoints. He advised on safe local food, trustworthy (not overly pushy) shops, avoiding tourist traps. He handled bookings and ticketing (e.g., with specialist tour guides) smoothly behind the scenes so we stayed stress-free. We covered the Golden Triangle and Rajasthan over 9 days. Such a likeable man!

Lalit was our driver for an unforgettable family trip around India’s Golden Triangle, taking my dad, my sister, and me through Delhi, Agra, and Jaipur. He was so much more than a driver. I honestly cannot recommend Private Drivers India enough! I recently spent almost three weeks traveling through India with them, and I can genuinely say that choosing this company was one of the best decisions I made for my entire trip. When I first started planning my journey, I contacted three or four different private driver companies that I had found on Google. I was comparing prices, itineraries, and services, trying to figure out which company would be the best fit for me. From our very first conversation, however, Lalit stood out from everyone else. He was incredibly kind, polite, attentive, and helpful, even though my trip was still more than a month away. He took the time to answer all my questions, helped me organize my itinerary, gave me suggestions about the places I wanted to visit, and explained everything about the prices and services very clearly. I never felt like he was simply trying to sell me something. He genuinely seemed interested in helping me plan the best possible trip. He was always kind, respectful, friendly, patient, and willing to help with absolutely anything I needed. He gave me useful suggestions, showed me interesting places along the way, and made stops whenever I wanted to see something or take pictures. What I appreciated the most, however, was his flexibility and positive attitude. Even though we had planned an itinerary in advance, there were days when I simply felt like doing something different, changing the schedule, spending more time somewhere, or visiting a place that wasn’t originally included in our plans. And Sundeep was always incredibly understanding and accommodating. He would listen to my suggestions, adapt our plans whenever possible, and do everything with a smile on his face. For me, this made the experience so much better. I didn’t want to spend almost three weeks feeling like I had to follow a rigid schedule every single day. Sometimes, when you’re traveling, you wake up feeling like exploring more, and other times you just want to take things slowly and enjoy the moment. Sundeep understood that perfectly. He always respected my wishes and made me feel completely comfortable asking for changes. Not once did I feel that I was bothering him. On the contrary, he was constantly offering his help and making sure I was enjoying my trip. And I think this is especially important when you’re traveling alone in a country you’re visiting for the first time. After so many days together, Sundeep became much more than just the person driving me from one city to another. He was an important part of my experience in India, and I will always remember his kindness and the care he took throughout our journey. I also want to thank Lalit once again, because the excellent service I received didn’t start when I arrived in India. It started more than a month earlier, during our very first conversations. His patience, professionalism, transparency, and genuine willingness to help were exactly what convinced me to choose his company in the first place. And what makes me especially happy is that everything turned out to be just as good as I had hoped, if not better. It’s wonderful to find people who are so dedicated to their work and who genuinely care about their customers having a great experience. India is an absolutely fascinating country, with incredible history, breathtaking architecture, beautiful landscapes, and a culture unlike anything I had experienced before. I loved visiting Delhi, seeing the magnificent Taj Mahal in Agra, exploring Jaipur, discovering Jodhpur, and spending time in beautiful Udaipur. Every city had something different and special to offer, and I came away with so many wonderful memories. But when I think back on this trip, I know that a big part of what made it so unforgettable wasn’t just the places I visited. It was also the people I met and the way I was treated along the journey. And Lalit and Sundeep certainly played a huge role in that. I genuinely enjoyed every minute of my time in India, and I am extremely grateful to both of them. They made my journey comfortable, enjoyable, flexible, and, above all, memorable. Their kindness and hospitality meant so much to me, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. So good experience, top quality car and such a nice driver

Wonderful experience. Lalit have provided the most personalised service you can imagine making our Indian road trip a true delight and hassle free. Lalit even came to personally greet us at our hotel when we arrived in India on our first day. Everything worked out smoothly and perfectly for the rest of our 7 days journey. All drivers and guide spoke perfect English and were well educated. We could simply not have hoped for more. Our family have travelled extensively in Asia and South East Asia and this is our best experience with a personal operator providing a private guided tour.

We spent 6 days with Lalit visiting Agra and Jaipur, starting and finishing in New Delhi. Lalit arranged good local guides, advised on restaurants and helped shape our itinerary whilst also ensuring we could do exactly what we hoped to. He was early for every pickup, dropped us off and picked us up wherever we needed and provided good knowledge and guide information along the way. He even laughed at our bad jokes! I would recommend this approach to seeing the Golden Triangle, particularly if you are lucky enough to arrange your trip with Lalit.

I recently booked a multi-day taxi service for the Delhi-Agra-Jaipur circuit, and the experience was fantastic from start to finish. My main requirement was flexibility — I wanted to adjust plans and sightseeing on the go — and Mr.Azad, our driver, delivered on this perfectly. Azad's knowledge of the roads across Delhi, Agra, and Jaipur was excellent. He didn't just drive us around; he took on the role of an informal guide too, sharing helpful information about the places we visited along the way. He was patient with our changing plans and always accommodating, which made the whole trip stress-free. On the last day, I also had the pleasure of meeting Mavi (Lalit) and Pawan, who handled logistics and coordination. Both were extremely professional, prompt with responses, and a pleasure to deal with. We couldn’t have asked for a better driver for our trip to India! Sandeep was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. He is an incredibly safe and experienced driver, even on difficult roads and in more remote areas. We always felt completely safe and comfortable with him. He was elegant, punctual, clean, friendly and extremely kind. As two young ladi a travelling alone, our safety was very important to us, and Sandeep always looked after us, giving us valuable advice and making sure everything went smoothly throughout our trip. The car was cleaned every day and was always comfortable, with fresh water, air conditioning and Wi-Fi available at all times.
