Golden Circle is the most popular day tour route from Reykjavik. It traverses spectacular landscapes and includes three Iceland's iconic destinations: Geysir geothermal area, Gullfoss waterfall and Thingvellir national park.
Strokkur is the little brother or the famous Geysir which not active anymore. Strokkur though is still very active blowing water up into the air every 7 to 10 minutes. We'll usually stop for lunch at Geysir for about 40 min At this stop can you also purchase food.
Gullfoss is a waterfall of the White River Hvítá. It has two steps of 11 and 21 meters and there are pulling more 100 m3 water through it at a second.
The Thingvellir are both historically and geologically a important location. Here was the first icelandic parliament founded in the late 900s and this is also the a visible division between the eurasian and the north american continental plates.
Kerið is an iconic volcanic crater of 55 meters depth.

Guide gives great detail and history of the sites and the country itself. Beautiful landscape and views.
Darren and Pablo were great! Everything was clear. . Great information about everything we experienced!
Great Tour, the views were amazing, the explantions were clear, thank you Mikki !
Loved the crater and the waterfall! The geyser was underwhelming. Long wait for a eye blink of an eruption. No pix, b/c not worth the wait to maybe get a shot. The UNESCO site was dramatic, but not as expected. Had hoped to stand with one foot on each tetonic plate. Not sure where that idea came from, but not an option. Anna, our guide, was delightful stopping early on for rest stop & awesome baked goods. She was extremely friendly and informative. 5 stars!
Amazing knowledgeable guide patient gave us enough time to see everything explained each site thoroughly I was very impressed would definitely use this company again
It’s advertised as introductory and it is. Staff are all friendly and helpful but the amount of time in most locations is too short - especially at the waterfall. If you are active and quick, it’s okay but those a little slower may not see as much
Thank you for your feedback and for your kind words about our staff. We are glad you found everyone friendly and helpful. This tour is designed as an introductory Golden Circle experience covering several major attractions in one day, so the time at each stop has to be balanced across the full itinerary. We understand that guests who prefer a slower pace, or who need a little more time walking between viewpoints, may feel that some stops are short. We appreciate your comments, especially regarding the waterfall.
Vjeran is the best guide, absolutely the best. I can most definitely say I’ve never had a more educated, phenomenal tour guide. He is plentiful with knowledge about the country and knows every place to go.
Sunny our tour guide on the bus was EXCELLENT!!!!😀 Tour as described. Excellent places to visit. Good recommendations at each stop
This tour was amazing. Our guide was very knowledgeable. The scenery was otherworldly. We had an excellent time. 100% recommend this tour!
I felt a bit motion sick in the car / I’m not sure how fast we were going or what the speed limit is. Apart from that it was a great day out, fantastic weather all day helped us to have an enjoyable day t
