Barcelona Experience Tour Our top selling Barcelona Experience Tour is the perfect way to spend a morning or afternoon in Catalan capital. The specially designed route will take you to the city centre and then the fabulous Montjuic Park, overlooking Barcelona. You have plenty of time to complete the route, pause to enjoy some of the views along the way and at the same time avoid the stress of bus queues and large tour groups. We recommend you follow our route, but you can go anywhere you wish within the city limits, total flexibility and control of your time.

- The driver must leave a deposit of 300€ per GoCar, either by Credit Card or Cash
- Drivers who are not from the European Union must have a valid, non-expired international driver's license or request an official translation of their license directly at the shop ( own expense 20€). The translation takes 1 hour and is possible from Monday to Friday (until 3pm on Friday) Not official holidays.
- Minimum age to be a passenger is 7 years
- Children must be accompanied by an adult
- Wheelchair accessible, please advise at time of booking if wheelchair assistance is required. (We can provide a GoCar that is operated by hand only)

The idea and car is tremendously fun. Spanish rules of the road take adjustment. The gps and voice navigation were good. A suggestion to help drivers is make the guidance give more and better advanced notifications of turns. We went off course several times because the turn command was given at the moment the turn needed to be made. Being off course is stressful and not the easiest to correct. We did become more worried about navigating and missed a few points of interest. Overall we'd do it again, but with improved voice navigation.
What an awesome and unique way to tour Barcelona - we had so much fun and doing it at our own pace and this was the highlight of our stay. Car was super easy to drive, lots of power and easy to park and get around. And the GPS tour guide was perfect. We took the extra hour recommendation to allow us to grab lunch and take a little longer. For anyone going Barcelona this has to be part of your trip!
Absolutely shocking customer service. The experience itself was ruined by the way we were treated at the end. When returning the GoCar, we were never given any instructions about where to drop it off. There were no signs and nobody had explained the return process. As tourists who aren't from Spain, we had no idea what we were supposed to do. A pedestrian told us that we could carefully drive onto the footpath to get the car back to the shop, so we followed that advice, believing it was correct. Instead of politely telling us we'd made a mistake, the shop manager came storming over shouting, "What the fk are you doing? Get out of the car! I'll push it into the shop!"** He then continued shouting that it was a "fking path."** There was absolutely no need to speak to paying customers like that. If clear instructions had been given from the beginning, none of this would have happened. We were visitors to Barcelona and were simply trying to return the vehicle correctly. The complete lack of professionalism and respect from the manager was appalling. We left feeling embarrassed and humiliated over what was clearly a misunderstanding that they could have prevented. I would never use GoCar Barcelona again and certainly wouldn't recommend them to anyone. Customer service costs nothing, and this company seriously needs to learn how to treat its customers with basic respect.

This is a super fun way to explore Barcelona, thought it would feel a bit more intimidating driving in normal traffic, but it wasn’t bad at all. Through the city it is a bit of a challenge finding a spot to park if you want to explore, but it’s still a fun experience!
What a cool experience. One of a kind and original idea. We managed to see the whole of Barcelona in like 3 hours. It was great to see different areas and take in the Spanish atmosphere without constantly having to walk around. One thing that was slightly frustrating was the lack of parking option so we couldn’t always stop and get a drink or explore and had to keep going which was a shame.
Ignore Diane with the 6 useless points!!! If you are a functioning adult none of these issues are valid The staff was great and the cars drove well and the narrated route was easy to follow. Greg way to see the city without being stuck on a bus. Try it all 5 of us enjoyed it very much
We had such a great experience with GoCar! The staff were incredibly accommodating from the moment we arrived—they made everything easy, answered all our questions, and got us set up quickly without any hassle. The driving experience itself was much easier than I expected. The car was simple to operate, and the directions and guidance made navigating the city feel smooth and stress-free, even for first-timers. What really stood out was how much my daughter enjoyed it. She said it was the best part of our entire trip, which says a lot! It turned out to be such a fun and memorable way to explore, and I’m really glad we chose it.
Great experience I loved it most of all the guided and automated tour guide is sooo good and you can go at your own pace.
Me and my partner had booked the 3 hour experience and thoroughly enjoyed it!! we were instructed how to drive the car and a few brief rules of the road. i would advise taking photos of the car your driving incase there is any unnoticed damage which would effect the return of your deposit. When we returned we received the €300 deposit back immediately and were very pleased. The only downside is the other drivers on the road hate the go cars, so your constantly being beeped at, cut up and shouted at.
