Wonderful day! Francois is SO friendly and knowledgeable. We learned a ton about the local ecology (beavers!!) and about the goats and their care and personalities. Such a memorable, fun and informative day. Superb lunch as well. Can’t recommend highly enough, great for adults and children alike.
I just cannot say enough wonderful things about this tour. Francois is great! He is full of knowledge and also lets you just enjoy the experience. The goats are fantastic fun. And we are in love with Luna.
This was amazing!!! Thank you so much!!! François and his team had an awesome set up with the lovely goats, and yummy picnic at the end. The walk was GORGEOUS and even our 4 and 6 year old had a ball.
It was a really nice hike. The goats make it a unique experience, the guide was very nice and pointed to cool facts. The lunch was perfect for the ocasion, very good a generous portions and cold drinks.
We had such a wonderful experience on this hike. I brought my 6- and 9-year-old children, and even though the hike lasted about three hours, they stayed excited and engaged the entire time. The goats made such a difference. They added so much fun to the hike and kept the kids entertained, but they also became a natural icebreaker. The children started interacting with each other, and before long, everyone in the group was chatting and getting to know one another. It made the whole experience feel warm and connected rather than just a group of strangers walking through the forest. Our guide was also excellent. Along the way, he pointed out things we definitely would have missed on our own — bear claw marks on a tree, feathers left behind from an animal that had been hunted, and other small signs of wildlife. He didn’t just point them out; he helped us imagine the stories behind them, which made the forest feel much more alive. That was probably my favorite part of the experience: when you hike with a knowledgeable guide, you start noticing so many little details and stories that you would simply walk past if you were hiking by yourself. A very special experience for both adults and children, and definitely one of the highlights of our trip. Highly recommended, especially for families with kids.
Amazing! Well worth it. Tour guide was great and very informative! Thank you Francois
Fun off-the-beaten-path experience for the whole family. Teenagers love it. There were about five goats and one friendly Shepherd on our walk. Plenty of interaction with the animals. Good pace/ easy walking; no need for hiking shoes if the ground is dry, small hills and gravel. We even heard bears!
Lovely walk on trail with great information from trail leaders. We enjoyed walking with and leading the goats with their different personalities. Lunch is simple but filling and great way to end the tour.
Francois was great ... friendly, funny, and very informative. The goats were awesome ... each with their own personality! And the lunch at the end was outstanding!
Our goat adventure was a perfect way for a family of four (kids 15 and 12) to spend the better part of a morning and afternoon together. The group was just the right size and being w the animals and in the forest provides such an easy bond for everyone. It's a great option for families looking to do something a bit out of the city but easily manageable for 1/2 day.
