This trip was just amazing and full of great surprises. We started with my favorite highlight of glass ball blowing and art sculpture handcrafting. The explanations, demonstrations and hands-on teaching for making my own glass work in a traditional glass maker work shop were very professional and clearly beyond my expectations. Also the various hiking trips during the day were really great. I appreciated very much that hiking was well distributed over the day and that we could see and experience several very different landscapes, including great mystic forests, huge naturally grown basalt rock structures, an impressive moraine landscape, an old ermitage and church build on and carved into a rock, such that it reminded me on meteora monasteries. Also we had several great viewpoints during the day to appreciate the beautiful scenery with 360° hills and mountains, very green forests (dominantely well mixed broadleaf forests and in some places also pines amd spruces), ponds, and small traditional villages, and went through a peaceful forest with a pilgrims chapel and another one with a small rock theater. The season was also perfect to pick and taste some raspberries and blueberries on the way. It was an amazing day and the guide and driver were very kind and gave a lot of explanations also during the trips by car. We came e.g. along a town, were Tycho Brahe worked as astronomer, saw many traditionnally constructed and even protected traditional houses, and the came could see the current extensions of the huge Skoda car manufacturing center for electric car manufacturing. I felt confortable and save all day, and enjoyed it all along. The lunch break was very nice (I took duck, among many choices, and it was really very tasty!), the tasting of different beers (with and without alcool) was interesting, too, especially after having seen the fermentation tanks of the small factory near the restaurant, where the beer was produced. It was really a great day full of culture and nature experience.
We are really glad that you enjoyed your visit with us and we look forward to seeing you again!
