Your guided tour starts at the Tennent’s Story heritage centre where you’ll be taken on an immersive journey through the history of Scotland’s oldest brewery. Artefacts gathered from the first days of brewing at Wellpark in 1556 through to today will reveal the origins, production and provenance of the famous beer. Then discover how Tennent’s became part of Scottish culture and marvel at moments from our iconic advertising campaigns, T in the Park festival and more. No brewery tour would be complete without a pint of the good stuff! After you’ve discovered the craft behind our legendary brew, you’ll be taken to our tasting experience for a free pint of brewery fresh Tennent’s Tank Beer pored straight from our copper tanks.

Would Definitely Recommend 5*
Really enjoyed the tour was good to see and learn about the process of making lager and the history of Tennents. Our guide Tony was very informative and answered every question. Liked seeing the old cans and that at the start of the tour. Thought the shop had a good range of items at fair prices. Guy there was nice and helpful, forgot name (sorry). Thought tour was extremely good value for money. Especially with pint at the end. There was an option of a 3 beer tasting for £6.50 more - I am not adventurous with my drink so I didn't do it. However 1 couple did, they weren't just served the drinks. Tony actually took the time to talk them through what each drink was in detail which was a nice touch and again good value. In summary: Really enjoyed it, value for money and would recommend. Tony deserves a whisky.

Top experience!
Calum, Stuart and Tony did a fantastic job! The tasting was brilliant. Following the tasting we had the IPA. A really good classic iteration of the style. Would love to be able to get hold of this more often!

Callum was an excellent and personable tour guide. His combination of knowledge and humor made the tour for us. The pint of lager at the tour’s wnd was the cherry on top.

Our guide was Collin. He was both well informed and entertaining. We walked away having learned a lot about the history of the brewery and the process of making beer. Good beer. Great guide.
