The trip to Versailles ran smoothly and was interesting. Too many people there, but the guide kept up together and looked after us well. It was too hot to wander through the Versailles gardens. Giverny was, for us, more interesting, relaxing and stimulating (in spite of the heat). The changed guide did a great job: an informative presentation of the life of Monet on the coach, and plenty (but not excessive) of free time was allowed to soak up the atmosphere, the calming gardens and fascinating house. Enough time to have a relaxing refreshment break afterwards. I thought that the guide coped well with the long delay before the return journey, due to a few people not returning to the coach in spite of the clarity and repetition of when and where to meet.

I don t take very many tours. The guides were quite informative. I preferred the live guides more than the audio guides. Make sure you download the Monet tour audio/app before departing the bus. I was still downloading as we walked and got a notice I could be charged extra. Hendricks was very helpful sharing his WiFi so I could complete it.
Loved the tour in versaille and Giverny. Both guides Lilli annd Hedricks were very knowledgeable and had fun ways of telling the stories
Monet's gardens are so beautiful and peaceful. I would return again! Hendricks was a great guide, easy to hear and understand. He made Monet's life story come to life.
