Giverny and Monet's House Half Day Trip from Paris Guide or Audio

Description
Like nature? Love Impressionism? Read on! Let us whisk you away on a half-day trip to the village of Giverny where Monet and other Impressionists set up home in the 19th Century. After a short one-and-a-half-hour ride from Paris, you’ll find yourself in this quaint little village in Normandy, where you’ll visit Monet’s exquisite house and gardens. Your art historian guide or audioguide will animate your tour around the flowerbeds that proved a source of inspiration for Monet, past the water lily pond made famous in the Nymphéas series and across the Japanese bridge that pops up so often in his work. Then you’ll explore Monet’s house, almost untouched by the passage of time.

Truly a wonderful experience!! I highly recommend the upgrade to a tour guide in person over the audio guide. Cristel was amazing and very informative, she gave us information on the bus and all around the gardens. Other reviews mention confusion around pick up but we found it very easy, just make sure you arrive at least 15m early just to be sure. A perfect amount of time for visiting the gardens, pond and house and having Cristel showing us around the gardens etc made the experience truly that much better. (She only guides those who paid for the in person tour though). Another note is that the tour guide won’t join you in the house due to it being quite small however she gave us plenty of useful information about Monet, his family, his gardens and his work before we entered. Furthermore there is some time to view the streets surrounding the house which are just as beautiful if you alot your time efficiently. Truly couldn't have had a better experience and definitely would recommend to others. 100/10 experience and one of the most spectacular gardens me or my mum have ever seen. Emily in Paris!
Crystal was and excellent guide for the tour. Very knowledgeable. Meeting spot is a bit confusing- just look for the coach buses and walk in that direction.
Guide was very knowledgeable, gardens were beautiful, would recommend to all
Perfect half day experience. We got there early and it was so organized we beat the crowd and we were able to view the house and gardens before the large crowd. New airconditioned coach with bathroom. We had an hour to walk around on our own which was the best part. Even had time to enjoy the cafe at the end before getting back on the bus back to Paris.
Very well organized and perfect for discovering Monnet's house and gardens. There were a lot of people, but that is not the organizer's fault.
Crystal was just fabulous. She knows so much about Claude Monet and shares it with passion and a bit of humor mixed in. You will learn a lot about Claude Monet and his life. I highly recommend this tour.
The time of departure 09.00 well chosen in view of the onslaught that came a little later in the Would have liked to have had more time for both hiking in the garden and the opportunity to eat something on site. Knowledgeable and interesting guide.
Fabulous half day trip with a professionally run company. Highly recommend using this tour for your trip to Giverny!
Pickup instructions are very vague. The staff carried no identifying clothing or flags. The pick up actually outside a cafe.
Really knowledgeable guide with exceptional insight into Monet, the venue and flowers. He was open to questions, supportive in helping us navigate the sight. He was very patient with latecomers.
