You need to to check where your pick up point is On my ticket it gave the front of hotel as pick up. They actually picked up at back of hotel on another road. Missed the trip.

I would not go in the off season. The off season is after Labor Day. I went the day after. The island was shut down except for tourist shops. The cute boutiques were closed. The restaurants were only open at the port. The tour itself had time to shop at the main parts of the town, but the driver sped past the historical areas making it difficult to photograph and enjoy the island. A lot of time was focused on Jaws, when there is a vast history of the island.

This was a great trip & worth doing again! Very enjoyable!! The bus trip to the Ferry was full of history. The ferry ride to the Island so relaxing-the water & weather was perfect! Then the bus tour on the island was very informative as well. Both tour guides (Anthony & Jay) were great!!

Martha’s Vineyard is a must! We really enjoyed the day and our guide was great although a bit too loud. The tour was interesting and our guide was entertaining It was an extremely long day especially as our hotel was not on the pick up route so out from 5.40 am and back at 6.30 It was disappointing that there was no WiFi or charging USB on either coach as our phones battery died after 13 hours. We were offered one bottle of water and a breakfast snack when the tour started and nothing on the island tour Regardless it was a must and good value for money
Thank you for your 4 Star review of our Martha's Vineyard Day trip from Boston. I'm glad that you enjoyed your tour. (You certainly could've had another bottle of water and a second breakfast bar if you wanted). I appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. Sincerely, Stephen M. Very nice experience. Tour guides on the buses were knowledgeable and helpful. Weather (early September) was mild and sunny; very pleasant.

You don’t stay on your transfer vehicle for the whole trip. More Time could be spent on the island rather than rushing for an earlier return. Likewise, more Time could have been given at the stops on the tour.
Thank you for your 4 Star review of our Martha's Vineyard Day trip from Boston. I am glad that you enjoyed your day and appreciate your feedback. Kind Regards, Stephen M. Belcastro President New England Trips Inc.
Our driver Jennifer was funny and a great driver! The shuttle was clean and comfortable. We made a pit stop and still made it to the ferry in time! Wish there had been some music or some historical content as we drove outside of Boston. Our M/V tour driver Anthony was also funny and a good driver and shared many interesting facts about M/V! I did wish we spent less time in Oak Bluffs — whether that was more time in another town or left M/V sooner. I had left my phone on the shuttle and called it in about 1 hour after we were dropped off but Steve (?) was readily available and I was able to get my phone that night! Thanks so much for your help!
Thank you for your GREAT 5 Star review of Boston's ORIGINAL Martha's Vineyard Day trip. I am very happy to hear how much that you enjoyed both your time with Jennifer and Anthony's Island tour. I am glad that we were able to retrieve your phone and get it back to you in a timely manner. I appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. Kind Regards, Stephen M. Be prepared to have something to do while visiting Martha’s Vineyard you’ll spend way too much time here. There is not enough to do no where to go. It can make for a long boring day. The trip should really cut the time you have there in half even with doing a tour it is a long, boring day. We arrived to the ferry way too early and sat on the ferry freezing waiting for the time for it to leave. The VERY worst part though was taking us to the most disgusting McDonald’s I have ever seen in my life. Taking us to McDonald’s period on a tour is shameful but this was horrible, the staff ignored us all, when giving our orders and asked for anything for example extra jelly, butter, etc. the employee obviously and dramatically huffed and rolled his eyes, no napkins, no straws, the trashcans were overflowing, there was not one single clean table to sit at….I could go on and on. This started the tour off on a very bad foot.
Thank you for your review. You certainly are entitled to your own opinion as it's all yours. I'm sorry if you didn't enjoy the day as much as the overwhelming majority of our guests. Perhaps it just wasn't the tour for you. Regarding the early arrival we always allow time for unexpected occurrences on the highway as they do occasionally happen. For most of our guests this is a once in a lifetime trip and we'd hate for anyone to miss it because we didn't allow enough time to get to the ferry. The McDonalds stop is really meant to be a comfort/restroom stop. It is the only highway rest stop on the way with public restrooms. It just happens to have a McDonald's in it. We can't speak to the service or cleanliness of the McDonalds as it has nothing to do with our service. If you choose to order food or coffee there that's your choice. Our buses hold 24-28 passengers and we send multiple buses daily so unfortunately we are very limited to where we can stop. 25-75 people can't go piling into a cute little coffee shop or restaurant. It's just not a reasonable option for us. If we brought 6 or 8 people in a van our restroom/coffee stop options would certainly increase. I want everyone that takes our trip to have an amazing time on the island but I also realize that our main job is to safely get you there and back which we've done tens of thousands of times without incident since our inception in 2011. The rest is up to you. Sincerely, Stephen M. Belcastro President New England Trips Inc.
