Girona and Medieval Villages Small Group from Barcelona

The trip was amazing and Ivan was so kind and knowledgeable. He arrived Promptly…gathered us up an we were on our way after he provided a quick review of the days activities.. We arrived in Girona.he provided wonderful explanations of points of interest and of course once we found out about the filming of “Game of Thrones”. We were hooked . Ivan gave us plenty of time to experience and enjoy each experience all the while Keeping us on schedule …second town was so charming we all wanted to stay ..we enjoyed the break to enjoy refreshment before move onto the charming seaside town..Ivan had made an excellent recommendation for us to dine with a wonderful view of the coast above the beach ..we have made new friends and have had a most memorable day ..

Our guide, Guillaume, was friendly and dynamic. He provided us with relevant and interesting information throughout the day on various topics. He adjusted well to the fact that there were people speaking French and others speaking English. He easily alternated between the two languages. He regularly ensured that everything was suitable for us. Personally, I would have spent more time in Girona rather than visiting a third village in the afternoon, but otherwise, it was a beautiful day. I recommend this excursion!

Our tour was fantastic. The small group made it so much fun. Ivan was excellent: very knowledgeable and very attentive to our preferences. It was a perfect balance of history, views, nature and relaxation.

DO NOT BOOK! The tour operator did not arrive. They could have told us a day before so we could have booked a different tour! I had reserved this at least 2 months in advance, way enough time to let us know! Very inconsiderate company. Not all people are from Europe that can easily jump on a plane and be here in less than 3 hours! It took us a total of 15 hours to come to Barcelona to experience this! NOT A GOOD COMPANY!

The Girona and Costa Brava tour completely exceeded expectations. I went in not knowing what to expect, but was blown away by how stunning the Spanish coast truly is—pictures don’t do it justice. The views, the charm, and the overall experience were an awesome surprise from start to finish. A big part of what made the trip so enjoyable was our driver and guide, Fabrizzio. He did an incredible job of warming everyone up right from the beginning, creating a fun and welcoming atmosphere that carried throughout the entire tour. His energy and personality really brought the group together and made the experience even more memorable. If you’re even thinking about this tour, don’t hesitate—it’s absolutely worth it.

We had a great day trip with William to visit Girona, Besalu and Castellfollit de la Roca. William was very nice and gave lots of great information. We had a small group of 7 which was perfect. The villages are so beautiful, so much history! Besalu is a great stop for lunch. Very happy we took this tour, thanks William!

Guilo was a wonderful guide. Girona was a beautiful city to see and the history we learned was appreciated. The drive to the two other medieval villages was very scenic. All in all a great day - highly recommend taking this tour.

We were a small but mighty group, and it felt like we were being invited into the world of the Catalonians. Our guide Fabrizio made me feel like I was a good friend, and he simply wanted to show me the best of what this area of Spain had to offer. Such history, stunning views, a proud culture, was wonderful to be whisked away to the lovely countryside for the day.

Our trip was cancelled at last minute and we went on Girona and Costa Brava trip with Rebecca. It was a wonderful day. Rebecca was really personable and full of knowledge. The mix of Girona with a Medieval town followed by lunch at the beach was perfect.
